Mavericks or Spurs.

It's gonna be the spurs over the Heat...no doubt about it.

Spurs can still slip. I have my money on either the Pistons, because they won last year, the Spurs, because they're the best defensive team, and Dallas, because they're a great overall team, as well as Seattle, which is another contender. Miami will obviously lose to any of these teams. I know at least the Mavs won the series 2-0, but I know the Spurs lost once. The Suns are a contender, but their defense will hurt them in the Playoffs.

Just cuz they're the defending champs doesn't make them immortal. They've been inconsistent all year, one of those downward slumps during the playoffs will get them eliminated.

They should still be able to get across the Eastern Conference teams. They'll be against the Heat is the Eastern Finals. The Mavs, Suns, Sonics, and Spurs will make the second-round. The Mavs can take the Suns to a seven game round, even if they lose. Remember the Mavs would've won the season series if only the foul was called on Marion against Dirk at the final moment. The Spurs could take Seattle out, although I hope the Sonics win. That leaves the Mavericks and the Spurs.
