Due to my love for quotes I have a regular column in Not Ashamed Magazine for them.
Do you have a favorite quote? What about a site online you know of about quotes? Please post them here!

Here is one of my favorites:
"Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy." - Saint Francis of Assisi

'If you wish to succeed, consult three old people'
Chinese Proverb

'The thousand mile journey starts with one step'
Japanese proverb

'One does not discover new lands without willingly losing sight of shore for a very long time.' ~Andre Gide

“All men think all men mortal, but themselves.” --Edward Young

'The worm is not to complain, because God did not make it an angel, and the fish that swims the sea must not complain because it has no wings to fly into the highest heavens. God had a right to make his creatures just what He pleased, and though men may dispute His right, He will hold and keep it intact against all comers. He protects His right and makes proud men acknowledge it, in all His gifts He continually reminds us of His sovereignty.' Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Always hold your head up, but be careful to keep your nose at a friendly level.

'Faith is positively positive, positively.'

'If you don't go you can't return.' An old Finnish proverb.

'many hands make light work'

“The things I want to know are in books; my best friend is the man who’ll
bet me a book I ain’t read.” – Abraham Lincoln

“Valor grows by daring, fear by holding back.”
--Publilius Syrus

The most beautiful site from the pulpit is a whole family together in a pew. The church service is not a convention to which a family should send one delegate. -- Unknown

“He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; and he that dares not reason is a slave.”
--Sir William Drummond

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.

"Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you’re sure to succeed.”
--Abraham Lincoln

Sitting on the mats.
Nice and warm and cozy,
Like little pussy cats.

O how brave are we?
Don't we do our fighting
Very comfortably?" ~ Amy Carmichael

Hmm I once ran across a website called the quote Garden...

http://www.quotegarden.com/ I don't know what it's like though, it just had lists of topics for quotes, if I remember correctly. It was long ago, though....

Ohhh....I love quotes!! Here are some:

Jesus is the heart mender and the Sunshine sender.

Keep Smiling: People will wonder what your up to.

Attempt great things for God, expect great things from God

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

You are not fully dresses in the morning until you put on a smile.

Thought all else may fail, God will never fail!

If he brings you to it, he'll bring you through it!

Hope this helps some! :D
