Title: Space Marine Armor Files and Helmet Files
Description: Pepakura Files

Vagabond - November 2, 2009 06:57 PM (GMT)
Hi guys I am sure a lot of you have seen my files already around other places and since this is a Warhammer Costuming group the files are here now as well, I will give a brief description of what the files are and how to do it below the links for anyone else wanting to do this.
Space Wolves Armor and Helmet ( I belive if not I will go back and edit this)
http://www.4shared.com/file/135367666/309e...ace_Marine.html
Child Size Space Marine and Helmet
http://www.4shared.com/file/132586958/e325...d_3D_Files.html

Now for the adult costume I have it set to fit a 5'8" to 6'2" person and for the Child Size it is all scaled for a child or teen 4-5 foot in height. I would still suggest that you check the MM height to yourself to see if you need to increase or decrease the scale of a part and if you want I will do re-scaling if a person has a problem for free of course.
For making models using Pepakura you only need to know two things and you need materials as well. You need 110 Weight Cardstock Paper (White), Exacto-Knife, and ither superglue or hot glue. When you print always say no to ajustment of the scale when you print. lines with a ---- are mountian folds and lines like this -.-.-.-.- are valley fold lines.
Now if there are any questions feel free to ask them and I will answer to my fullest extent. I am also working on files for a Khorne Bezerker, and for a Grey Knight but both of those are still in the works of being done. Altogether I have 3 months that I have put into this so far.
I also have all the Space Marine weapons done in pep files as well so if you want a certain one please PM me for it what I have (Power Mace, Hammer, Halberd, Pistols and a lot more.)

Some good stuff in there mate.
I'm not sure on how the scaling works on pep though, which settings are they under?
Also, any links to how you should proceed once you've assembled the pieces, i.e., do you fibreglass them or what?

...and what is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? :P

Well it depends on what you mean on scaling if you want to scale it to your size you look at the 3d model in the designer from top to bottom height and measure yourself to tell how high in Millimeters you want the piece to be.If you mean to where you can do scaling you have to have Pepakura Designer 3 to scale a part and you do that from the 2D Menu and go to Change Scale. After you have a part built yes if everything is correct the way you want it to be you resin the outside and use fiberglass cloth and resin on the inside for re-inforcement after you have resined it you can bondo the outside but I never have I just use enough resin on the outside to make it where it appears that it was not made in pepakura. As for your air-speed velocity I have no honest idea how to answer that.

Thought I'd add my collection to this.
I spent a good deal of time looking for pep files and 3d models for 40k stuff before I started my marine. This is pretty much just a compilation of that. There are two full sets of different SM pep files, 3 different chest pieces, 4 different pauldron files, and every weapon they ever made a 3d model for. (including a heavy stubber with mount for those guardsman <.<)

Some of the weapons haven't been unfolded yet, but the models are there. Hope this helps someone start their gear.

Assuming European, the answer is approximately 24 miles per hour:

ok my old files in the first post are gone 4Shared got rid of everything I had, but I do have a pepakura wikia at pepakuracollection.wikia.com which is where I will be posting my files at from now on.

I've got the "sliced" files for the chainsword and bolter... I can email them anyone who would like... just message me with your email.

You'll still need pepakura, and you'll also need to print or at least cut each piece twice.

Also, there is a "slot" in the bolter for the barrel and the chainsword for the handle... let me know!

alot of the relic DoW models are pretty low polygon count, so that may not be to your advantage.
most of the detail is just the skin applied over the wireframe

Does anyone have pep files for Grey knight armor, or a tut for making it scratch build, i belong to a 40k gaming group here in abilene and was going to enlist some of their help with either cutting/folding, or help with building. i would love to be able to build one like Colin's, or Geidrius but all the files for pepping i found were in A4 format and either I'm just horrible at converting to letter size or there's something wrong with my computer, but every time i convert them i get pieces that wont fit completely on the paper. anyway enough of me rambling, if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it as would my gaming group, this halloween when i bring the word of the emperor to the masses.
