yeah I agree, good idea dawn!!! ;) :D Maybe one of us could ring the B&B to enquire and see what they say about group bookings and discounts. Also to find out how far in advance you'll need to book your rooms ;)

They have a website so I will email them and see if they have any availability and if they would offer a discount if there was a big group of us :)

Hope they have single rooms - coz I reckon I'll be coming on my own - unless any of you folks wants to share !?

There is a train station in Farnworth not far from the Club. CHEEKY, BTW No I don't get any commission for room bookings. To be honest not even seen the Fourways. I knew most peeps from the first Phoenix nIght stopped there. It will be better than staying at the Motel because it's in Farnworth. I mentioned the Fourways because it is cheaper too. Someone stayed in Wigan and it cost them a bomb. I'm helping because I promised Mel. I would. I also have a very kind heart LOL.

Yeah there is a train station in Farnworth, and u can get to Farnworth train station from Bolton (takes about 5 mins if that from Bolton to Farnworth). The Motel is a bit out of the way but its nice (my Nana had her 90th Birthday there last Aug and my Mum had her 60th birthday there last Dec) I'm sure that we'll sort it between us tho' some way or another (thumbs up)

Thanks for the link Mel, had a look at the website and found it a bit confusing, so sent them an email enquiring about prices for single/double rooms and if they offer a group discount. Will let you all know if I hear anything ;)

Haven't heard back from Fourway so I am going to ring them later. Will hopefully have an update for tonites chat :) I may be a bit late to the chat so I may not be about until 10pm, hope some of you will still be about :D

Righty oh peep here is some info

I called them and there have no booking at the moment so we could have the whole place if we needed. it is £45 for a single, £59 twin and £65 for a family room all prices include full english. If we book more than 4 room we would be eligible for a group discount.

What do you guys think should we find a few more places and check prices or is everyone who needs to stay over ok with this??

Thanks loads for the info Lisa!!! Much appreciated, maybe you could shop around and maybe see if we could get a rough idea of numbers for people who would need to stay overnight. I can't really think of any other B&B's, hotels, etc that are reasonably priced or near enough to the venue. But I'll look into it for ya if you like? or would you rather do it? It's entirely up to you mate, just let me know (thumbs up)

No probs Mel wanted to my bit however small :lol: I know that this is quite nearby and it looks like a nice place. I would quite like to stay there but I wanted to find out what others thought, don't know if it will suit everyone :)
