The Arena is my fave too, although I must say I love the Leonard episode too!! 'Which hand do you wipe yer bum with?' LOL cracks me up every time (bad pun there I know sheesh). But they're all great its so hard to choose :huh:

Fave episode has to be leonard "which hand do you wipe your bum with??" manages to make you feel sorry for leonard but laugh at him at the same time. Pure genius by Mr Kay!!!

i am in love with the services at the moment! its still as funny as ever after god knows how many times i've seen it!

I watched all the episodes at my friend’s house and I am going to buy the DVD. All the episodes are great. The Bingo and the ice cream episodes made me laugh. The Leonard episode was very touching and it was a brilliant performance from Peter. I think I will vote for the Bingo episode because I love the Keith laird bits.

I absolutely love In The Club and Ice Cream Man Cometh.

IN THE CLUB: UTTERLY FANTASTIC... especially the bit where it mentions that Max and Paddy aren't really doormen and then Max pretends to grab Paddy by the neck and Paddy then chokes is nicely done and the two of them are so funny to watch.

(Oh and the bit where Brian gets out of his wheelchair at the very end when the Neptune burns down is funny as well, haha!)

ICE CREAM MAN: The bit where Mr. Softee's on the phone and ends up throwing it into a bin when he finds out that his biggest rival's selling ice cream at the local fete cracks me up big time!!

I totally agree. I love Leonard and begged (and was allowed to) review that episode on him in the reviews section on the forum.

You are right, he is the kind of bloke you would normally try and avoid...in actual fact I attract guys like that like a magnet, I'm known for it. I was sat on a bench at a shopping centre one day and my dad went to get us a drink to have outside and an older gent dressed as a boy scout sat next to me. Looked at me and said "I think I'll paint my plimsolls green" and he got out a pot of paint and did it righ there including the laces. My dad came back and the look in his eyes when he knew I had done it again was a picture. The man left and all that was there was two feet shapes on the pavement with a green surround.

Then there was the time we went to a pub and a man dressed as a woman sat next to me, fair enough, it's his life, but he emptied his handbag all over my table and it was full of medication. He wanted a cigarette and I don't smoke so he wasn't too happy. Then I noticed a card under my nose and it said the man was an inmate at the local mental insitution and if he was found to ring his doctor. I told the landlord as by now he had got a pint and was taking pills. The police came to collect him..

i am always the one that when someone askes me for a ciggie, i give them one, then when they have gone i think to myself, why didnt i just say no!

So one day i was sitting in the a@e of my local hospital and this young girl came in with a baby to get her free baby milk, i could here a commotion going on, but never really payed mutch attention until i realised she was abusing the really old League of Friends ladies who serve in the shop ( are you still with me here lol ) any way she came flying out , and came over to me and asked me to go and get her another 3 cans of dry milk as "old bag" as she so politly called her refused as she had already got 3 cans!!!!
Well on clocking this young girl up, and the horrid group which were waiting for her out side, i refused!

I opened my mouth and said " no" How dare you abuse the ladies that work here for the good of the community and how dare you try to sponge off the tax payers to feed your own habbit!
With this she walked out, end of i thought!

Until i went out to my car.......there followed 5 mins of abuse and at 33 i felt terrifed of a group of kids young enought to be my own kids!!!!

So a few more Leonards in the world wouldnt be so bad after all bless ^_^
