my sister had never seen phoenix nights so i shown her that bit she said that it is taking th mick out of an old man and was really uppset lol she still doesn't like phoenix nights but she likes max n paddy n everything else hes done

yeah Phoenix nights does take the mick, and really its amazing they got away with it so much!

How did you do it ?

You asking for my trade secrets !! lol

It's not that difficult if even I can do it.. I use a programme called Goldwave which you can download a free trial of http://www.goldwave.com then you just open your base sound (the song) open the other sound - cut the bits of dialogue you want and there's a mix function where you can paste the dialogue over the music track... sorry not the best explanation.. but it is easy if you have the programme and play around with it !!

And then the finished result...

That's gotta be the first time I've ever been called a genius!!

As for getting the sound bites to start with... thats another programme - DVD audio ripper that lets me copy the whole audio track from a dvd .... never knew I was so technical !! (Of course that also implies that I have Max & Paddy on dvd and that cant be true !!)

I'm having fun making them.. time to think of the next one...

yeh every week when max and paddy was on i had to take my laptop plug it into the mix table and lift everything off. none of this fancy equitment like dawneh
