Well folks, this is an idea I came up with not long ago and I'd really appreciate all your opinions, ideas etc for this. I thought it would be a nice idea to have some sort of 'Tour Book' for Paddy from his fans and supporters here at the Peter & Paddy forum :D I already have a nice hard back book that we can put everything in, and was thinking of making it like a diary/scrapbook type of thing with all the reports, pics etc of his shows from the warm up shows last summer right up until the current tour. Thought it'd be a nice momento for Paddy to keep, so he can look back on this past year and say 'Yep, I feckin' did it!' if you know what I mean?! LOL ;) :P I don't care what anyone says, Paddy's worked bloody hard this last year and it's certainly paid off, he's now made his name and is in high demand and rightly so, good on him I say enjoy yourself ma friend!!!! Like he said in his latest message on his site:

"Beverley feckin Hills, me a lad from Bolton on holiday in Beverley Hills? Who'd have thunk."

We have a title for the book which will be "I did it and I did it good! - On Tour with Paddy McGuinness 2005/06" Like I say it'll contain all our reports, photos, etc from his shows and maybe other appearances, we could even include our reports etc from the fundraiser too. Could put our other tour messages in there too if I can find them from the past tour and warm up gigs. I think it'll be nice if we can put our sigs in there too, so he knows who we are should he ever by chance pop on here for a mooch.... you never know ;)

Soooooo get thinkin' and post all your ideas for things we could put in the book, the funnier the better, and I look forward to seeing them. I'll post pics of the book once it's completed, but we NEED to fill it!!!!!!! it's got to be bursting at the seams, give him plenty to look at lol. I will give him the book when I see him on his current tour, I'll be seeing him in Bolton and in Blackpool so if we could please try to get all of it put together by 24th March NO LATER!!! cos I don't know when I'll see him next and I want to give him the book personally and during the tour so he's got something to read to pass the time should he be bored inbetween shows LOL ;) not that he will be bored like, but you know what I mean LOL

Sounds bloody lovely mel! What a great idea for paddy to look back and think he made us all happy as larry!

I havn't written much reviews or taken any pics, so i'm pretty useless lol!

If you want to use any of my pics from the fundraiser you can gladly!

Also i can remember the bury warm he did because it was such a memeroble night! I'll write a peice about that if you like.

Fantastic idea! I'd love to be able to add my report and pictures etc to the book but i don't see Paddy untill the 24th March so i miss out :( I'm sure he'll love it though! :D

Thanks folks!! We're definitely going ahead with this project and I need you to send all your ideas etc or whatever you think is appropriate for the book, it is A4 in size so anything for the book must be able to fit in it, so thngs will have to be slightly smaller than A4. We've got to make this really special!!!!! I now know when I am giving him the book and hope to get pics of me presenting it to him, but we'll see how it goes (thumbs up) we want lots of funny stuff related to the tour, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you can think of ANYTHING even if it's a pic of the crazy frog I dunno LOL or a pic of Mick hucknall LOL you know what I mean if you've seen the show hehe then if you have anything please post it here or pm me or you can email it to me if it's going to be too big to post on here (thumbs up)

Mel it is a brilliant idea and i am loving it!
