Just wondered if there was any news on Paddy's book being put on CD?? I would LOVE a copy to whoever may be producing it if it's possible

Yes folks Janine said she would do that but I haven't heard from her in a while, :unsure: hope all is ok with her. I'll get in touch with her and see how she's doing, I miss seeing her around here.

And thanks Dawn, but I'm not too sure how you'd do it to be honest, Janine has everything so I'm afraid I can't help you. Plus it's a bit hefy as in files etc as there are about 100 pages, so sending it all to you may take up some time and space on your computer I'm not 100% sure. I don't even have a copy myself so.... you're better discussing it with Janine hun. But thanks so much (hug)

i texted janine about it she'd not been very well bless her but she says she will let us know about the cd's when she's feeling a bit better (thumbs up)

So sorry to hear about Janine, I thought it was funny I hadn't heard as I PM'd her last week and she usually replies bless her.

I can't wait to see this CD.

BTW Mel if we are donating to your charity, don't forget if we can do it direct and say we are a taxpayer (which I am), the charity gets more money. I am sure you know that but I think important to repeat to those who don't. Naturally I will pay postage to Janine as well so she doesn't lose out.

Thanks Marlene, yes we do have a gift aid policy (or whatever it's called sorry our treasurer deals with all that haha) I'll get in touch with the committee and will let you know what they say and how we would go about it :)

Hi people I'm back!!!!!!! :D

I've started sorting the files for the cd I just need to track down some of the photo sheets and i'll be there with it!!!! I'm also gonna put a few extra video files on of some bloke doing stand up!!!! although at the moment his name slips my memory!!!!

Great stuff saucy, if you tell me when you have finished it how big the whole cd is in size and maybe i could get it hosted and make it a download so its even easier for people to get.

It's over 100 pages of text (with a water mark on each page which i think makes it bigger oooerrr) and over 60 photo sheets, as well as 4 video files (which you already have) and for the people that went to the fund raiser i was gonna put the video clips from the do on as well!!!! so I think it may be a little bit too big :lol:

It is the book I handed over to Paddy after his Blackpool show. I just have to sort things out with the ISG ( the charity that the money from the cd's are going to) committee how the money can be donated to them and then we're good to go. Either myself or Janine will post as soon as we have further news. Don't worry though, what I'll do is I'll start another thread so you can put your names down for copies. Just request a copy and we'll sort it from there :)
