Have you tried phoning the venue and seeing if they've had any cancellations or returned tickets?? You might be surprised!!

Wash your mouth out Laura!!!!

Don't let Paddy hear that suggestion, he is not happy with the robin' b's at e-bay and last September after a load of people got iffy ticket's there he even gave some real tickets away for his darkside tour to make up for their disappointment bless him.

Don't get me wrong, I am an e-bay buyer and seller but never tickets and stuff like that. Plus, even if they are good tickets at super high prices our Paddy doesn't see a penny of the over the odds prices and that's not fair is it?

Go stand in the corner young lady...lol

BTW I had a quick peek and there weren't any for Leeds anyway and the suggestion of phoning the venue is a good one. Even on the night.

Last resort, go and stand outside where he exits and see him personally!!! Now THAT my friend is well worth it.

Love
Marlene

Will also add you may not get 2 seats together by phoning the venue nearer the time, but if I were you I'd go for them -- believe me, once he starts you won't even notice your mate isn't sat next to you!!! ;)

You are so right...and on the night itself there is always always someone who can't make it. I bet you would be lucky.

Hi Laura

As soon as you have written on the blackboard 30 times

'I must not encourage people to buy tickets off e-bay'

Then you can go over to the chat room and be forgiven! LOL

Thanks Marlene, this is indeed true from the man himself. He was such a gent during the warm up gigs last summer bless him. I was about to post about this in here when I saw you'd posted about it already Marlene :) grrr.... at feckin' ebay!!! Sorry just had to get that out of my system.

But yeah I'd ring the venue nearer the time of the show or even pop down to the venue itself on the night of the show if you can get there and back easily enough. Hope you manage to get tickets :)

offt kinda.

OMG. :o I can see exactly why Paddy isn't a huge fan of eBay.

Just been on there snooping and there's a pair of tickets (face value £15.00 each) just gone for £108!!!! shok

And a pair for the Apollo in Manchester in September went for £102 the other day!!!

I think it's safe to assume the boy is HUGE these days!!!

£185?!?!?! *thud* Sorry. That was the sound of me hitting the deck in shock!!!

It's just unbelievable isn't it. I've actually gone on there now to watch a few and I can't believe how many there are on there. Each seller has 2 or 3 pairs and their opening the bidding at a relatively high price!! One bloke has bought a block of 10 and is trying to flog them at £45 EACH!!

I just don't get it ...... no, scrub that, unfortunately I do!! I'm not saying I'm an angel. I have considered buying tickets off eBay before but I'm generally very wary -- and I certainly wouldn't pay those kinds of prices. I'm not THAT desperate to see ANY show!!!

Laura - May 22, 2006 06:48 AM (GMT)
bloody hell crumbs, I am a member of Ebay but I have never ever bought tickets
