Hi everyone

What a great night, I have been so giddy since I got back. Clive poured me a vodka and coke and I spilt it then the ball fell out of my mouse when I tried to put this together so had to get the spare mouse off the TOP shelf…lol…

Who needs booze to get you drunk!

OK downers first although not very down really I am still well happy. I couldn’t get to see Paddy for a one on one as he didn’t come out and and baby Max’s other grandma rang to give an update and we really had to get back, so no one on one photo and sadly I couldn’t get a card signed for Linda so if anyone else can help her and her new husband Gary that would be great. I think if Linda sent him a card Paddy would sign it.

We had some excellent seats in row C which is actually the third row from the front. There is no photography allowed at the Playhouse so initially we put the camera away.

The warm up comedian was absolutely excellent. He was from Colchester and I don’t remember his name, but he was very good with audience interaction and did a very funny voice thing with his back to us from time to time like Harry Potter and that little creature he has hanging about. If I find out his name I’ll tell you.

We then had a break and it was time for Paddy to come on. I love the way he kept asking for lights to go up from time to time. But soon into the show he came into the audience looking for a camera and no one had one as they know about the strict rule. One guy had one but Paddy said “that’s a f…ing mobile camera…has anyone got a real camera?” Well I owned up to one so he came over and gave my camera to the man sitting behind me and bent me over and ‘gave me one…” well not really but you know what I mean…he said “explain that away to your husband or boyfriend!” ha ha..when I looked as my camera is digital it has a couple of second delay so it missed me altogether and all you get is the Padster with his hand on my back riding me to heaven and back…lol…not really…you know what I mean..but no probs with hubby..



He had us in fits and the hour was soon gone. Of course at the end we had the love rocket dance..I took a couple of sneaky shots but they didn’t come out..

Who is this guy though? Is this Tony?



As I said, it was choc a bloc and we had to leave so I didn’t get the special photos you guys got but I still feel it was well worth it and I loved every minute.

Awww Marlene I'm so glad you had such a great time!! I knew you'd love it! (Excit) (Excit) And so chuffed you got one of 'those' photos!!!! But I'm also sorry you didn't get to see paddy after the show :( your pics are great though!! thanks so much for sharing them, and yes that is Paddy's brother Tony in the second pic, he's a great bloke :D and such a good sport (thumbs up)

Thanks for your lovely feedback. Yes there was so much I wanted to say to Paddy as well, but baby Max is our No. 1 right now and I was so delighted that Ben and Holly (Max's parents) were able to have a good time after all the heartache this passed year. I looked at them laughing so much and it brought a lumpt to my throat thinking of all the ups and downs they have suffered with little'un.

Paddy knows that he has done so much for Max and I am sure he knew who it was he was 'almost' you know what-ing..lol...

Max will be so proud of his Nana when he grows up..ll

Awww you're welcome Marlene. And yeah I can completely understand, you're family has been through so much and I'm so happy for you all that Max is doing so well he's a little star bless him. And I'm sure he will be very proud of his Nana :D

Great report, good pics to, Shame you couldn't meet paddy afterwards and that you weren't allowed to take pics but as long as you enjoyed the night thttas all that matters.

oooh Marlene glad you got one of those pics. Sounds like you had a fab time, shame you didn't get to meet the Padster, but glad you had a good night regardless, bet Maxs' mum and dad really appreciated the chance to have a good laugh, considering what the last year has been like for them.

Shame you didn't get to meet the Bolton Wanderer afterwards. At a push I'd say he had to get off sharpish for whatever he had to postpone Southampton for, but you got one of those pics so it all works out!!! ;) :lol:

Well done Marlene, I am sooo proud of you getting up with Paddy and letting him do rude things to you!!!
I wouldn't worry about not meeting Paddy afterwards, coz I am sure you will have many more opportunities in the future, however Paddy picking you out from the audience and pretending to do you know what to you is much more hard to come by. Infact its probably one person per show and how many shows has he done.....maybe 100 ish, so look at it this way - only you and 99ish more people in the whole world have had that opportunity!!!
Hope Max is ok and congratulations on his parents being together for all that time, you should write to the papers about their amazing love story because it is really bizarre and just shows that there must be such a thing as fate.

Do external forces have the ability to report a pic?? That's all I can think of. Mine's in a directory that, unless you were actually interested in the show, you wouldn't see it!!!

Don't see what the problem is myself. He's only standing there in costume isn't he?? You couldn't see him grinding could you???
