Main Characters? The usual gang are all here! This is the first episode that we get introduced to Den (she has got a cock so you have been warned) Perry, we also see the return of Keith Lard the fire and safety officer from Eyes Down in That Peter Kay Thing, also the main new character of the evening is the psychic ‘Clinton Baptiste’ Who I think is the funniest extra the show has ever had! From his first appearance on stage ‘Youright’ to his horrible ending of ‘nonce’ All the characters are on top form here, especially the lovely Janice in that aerobics outfit! YUM YUM!

What’s the episode is about:Basically Brian is setting up a night with a phsycic that den perry has recomended, but when they go to a fire and safety meeting and bump into 'dog lover' keith lard things can only go from bad to worse, with the club closed down because of its hazards, brian has to think quick to get the club back open and bribes keith with a rather shocking picture! The night is back on but the phsycic himslef turns out to be a shambles and causes another riot at the pheonix!

What extras does this DVD have? Some deleted scenes, Outakes and a wonderful commentary which is probably my favourite because of Peter’s laughing fit when he mentions ‘Terry Wait’

What made you laugh out loud? I don’t know when I didn’t stop laughing! The whole episode is a roller coaster ride of laughs!! From the beginning where Brian called Kenny a tit for spelling psychic wrong, The whole Keith lard bit at the banana grove, Brian calling jerry his dad! LOL The look on Jerry’s face is classic! The bit where we see a photo of Keith with the dog and we realise that peter actually had to pose for that pic!

What was your favourite part? The Keith lard bit at the club definetly, You ever smelt burning flesh son? Yeah! That always gets me that bit!’ This is veronica’ ‘Shes a bit of a dog!’ Just the concept of him actually naming a plastic doll is funny on its own! But I can honestly say that the whole episode is a classic! I’ve not met anybody who thinks this episode isn’t up to standard! Infact I think it broke phoenix nights into the classic comedy genre, and its only episode 3!


Available to buy at: Any decent store that sells top quality DVDS! Also online stores like amazon should have it, but don’t get it off ebay whatever you do! BOOOOO!

Anyway,a bit from this that always makes me laugh is when Brian and Jerry have to get away from the police officer when hes trying to show them the way to the hospital :lol: Hilarious!

This ep is brilliant!!!

Love the opening -- "Pyskick?? What's a Pyskick?? It's Psychic ...... Tit!!", love the bribery and corruption at the end, love Clinton's last couple of lines, love Jerry and Brian heading back to the Phoenix following the fuzz and the "Fork off!!" (That could've gone SOOOO wrong :lol:), love Keith Lard's fire talk, and his inspection of the club, especially the "Do you know the Mexican for 'Let us out, let us out!! We're burning!! Aaagh'" and Kenny Senior just coming out with the line in Mexican!!! In fact, love most of this ep. It's got so many classic lines and scenes - it's gotta be a legend!! :lol:

love it when clinton is leaving the club and brian says "can you read minds, well read this" and clinton goes "you..can walk". then the policeman comes to bust them for speeding and brian pretends to have another attack :lol:

p.s. interesting fact: Archie Kelly used to be a Spanish teacher :lol:

love this episode, mostly when brian and jerry are speeding and get pulled over by the police saying brian is jerrys dad! :lol:

Personally, I think Max and Paddy can steal any scene. P***ed myself when they said "If you want me and Paddy could have a word." "Bite his ears off!" :lol: And so serious about it!!!

It was on last year it was hilarious :lol: they had a real audience in and they belived that she/he was a pykick :lol: and she was saying stuff like you can feel your deads dog in the room, i think its left a bit of mess over there :lol:

He was on the hundred greatest comedy moments or something like that (the one peter got to number one on) and i thought it was really funny then.
