Overall rating out of 5: 5/5

Main Characters? Most of the usual phoenix staff, with Beverly played by Jo Enright,Sally Lindsay as Tracey Burns,Ray Vons current girlfriend and Sian Foulkes as Mary.

What’s the episode is about:The phoenix club hold a singles night,dj'd by Ray Von. Brain meets Beverly when he accidently runs over her foot in his wheelchair. Brian buys her a drink to apoloise and they start talking, they get on well and Beverly asks to meet Brian again. They go on a series of dates, but then Beverly has a confession to make as she tells Brian that she works for the DSS and was investigating disability claims. Paddy also meets Mary at the singles night, daughter of Holy Mary.

What extras does this DVD have? Great outakes and commenrty. (thumbs up)

What made you laugh out loud? I was laughing most of the way through here,it's my favourite episode of series one.The prank call to Brian from Max and Paddy was really funny,as was Brian singing Wind beneath my wheels to beverly, which was sweet aswell! Brian and Jerry buying the waterbed is brilliant and i have just remembered...covered in piss!

What was your favourite part? Definately Brians dates with Beverly, the bowling alley where he falls down the side of the lane, the resteraunt with the rose(f*ck off  ) and of course the paintballing-i love them!

I like this ep mainly for the lads congregated around the door and spending the night making comments and just basically standing there chinwagging!!! :D

Paddy - "No wonder they're all single -- they're all hangin'"
Max - "Who let the dogs out?"

And Jerry's line "Who said that? Oh sorry Paddy - couldn't see you wi' t'light bouncing off your 'ead!!"

There are some brilliant lines in this one!!

Ohh, and "He's coming up for parole soon and I want him coming home in style!!" Or words to that effect!!

FABBO!!!! (thumbs up)

Another fantabulous review! (thumbs up) And another crackin episode.
Sally lindsay makes an appearence in this episode as tracy and theres a bit where brian says 'they'll be draggin her out of canal monday'
Loved poor max as he was shunned by paddy chatting up holy mary's daughter, personally i'd be chatting up the mother instead!
The now famous F*ck Off to the waiter is one of the best scenes of the series! And with 'things i'm gonna do to you' puts the icing on the cake! ^_^

Hi ya

Nellie the Elephant was ahit song when I was but a slip of a lass well under the age of 10 but they did revive it later and base some cartoons on it:

Great review!

I couldn't get to answer before as for some wierd reason the episode wouldn't play it made my computer restart instead each time. My son has fixed it now so this should be fine.

I loved this episode for too many reasons I can mention

Love Marlene

This is such a sad episode, Brian finds happiness but is so hurt by Beverly that he ignores all her calls. :( And poor Max, the look he gives when Paddy is chatting up young Mary. :( Then watching how pathetic Les is with the ladies 'I'm horny, horny horny'.

Poor blokes :(

But a funny moment is when Alan is dancing with that lady and she drops all her cigarette ash on his back, hmmmm classy! :P
