Just noticed last night on E4's re-run of PN Series 1 that in the last episode when Paddy drives in to meet up with Max and Ray Von (who are settting up the car alarm) that Paddy is playing a song in his car - but on the DVD you cannot hear the song in this scene! Anyone else notice this??

Nope its not that one (george michael) on the TV episode last night! I cannot remember the song title/band :( Very catchy 80's tune - a bit of a cheesy song. Its when Paddy speeds in in his Escort XR3i and leans over on the Volvo door....ahh its so frustrating not knowing the song. Any one know why its different?

Ill post again when I remember the tune...

So is it before or after the george michael song? I remember peter saying on the commentary that they couldn't clear another song on the soundtrack when paddy pulled in, maybe thats it. Maybe its different for the dvd.

hmm i'll have a look at my dvd later, but the things have been edited on the dvd for legal reasons like phone numbers pictures etc

I hate to break it to you m'love but it wasn't George Michael -- it was by a band called Imagination!! :P Sounds like him -- but it's not!!!

As for the track they couldn't clear it was called Tarzan Boy by Baltimora and starts with a very recognisable holler a la Tarzan at the start!!!

It's quite catchy actually!!!!

Oh, and I can hear the track on my DVD -- it's not very loud, like, but it's there!!!

That's one of the tracks they couldn't get cleared for the DVD.

There was that one, Bryan Adams' "Summer of 69" in the Psychic ep in series 1 and Aerosmith's "Walk the Way" in the Ladies Night ep in series 2.

Whether there were any others I couldn't say, but those are the 3 most memorable ones for me!!

Seems the uncleared songs are not on the DVD which is okay - I was getting worried my DVD was a dud! That 'Body Torque' - 'Body Talk'? Song is so cheesy - reminds me when it first came out when i was a nipper ! lol
