Yes I know that I am sad, but I emailed Rod last night and guess what....he's already replied! Hows that for good service!
I just congratulated him on the tour and asked if he will be on the DVD from Blackpool. Here is his reply;

I haven't heard anything about my act making the DVD so far, but they did
record a little interview with me and Paddy's brother Tony for the DVD
Extras. It would be great to get a little bit of my set on there so I guess
I'll keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime, thanks for your kind

I was amazed! You should all send him one coz I think he does appreciate it and he was a good laugh on tour with Paddy.

Just had a thought too - remember you were all trying to contact Paddy with your script, why not ask Rod to pass it on to him. I'm sure he wouldn't mind just the once!

Hope you get your photo Faye. I've never seen him after a show coz I reckon he sneaks off when Paddys on! However I have seen him in the bar before the show in Blackpool with all of his family. So maybe hang around before the show or ask him to wait at the end for a pic (if you haven't already!!!)
