Title: Max - The Character

Hi all
Is it me or is Max's character voice different in both Phoenix Nights and Road to Nowhere? I can hear the difference in accent - was it done I wonder because it fitted in better because Max is a main character of the Max and Paddy series?
Any comments/ideas?

I thought it was because max and paddys series is a few years on so his voice could of changed with age

Not sure about the voice but i thought Max acts a lot more grown-up,older in max and paddy.

The way I heard it, PK decided to make Max's voice in Road to Nowhere closer to his own so as not to strain it, due to the extended period of time he would be using it!

Shame really as I think the bouncer characteristics have completely vanished in M&P. Oh well - lets hope he and Paddy return to clubland in the very near future ehy!!

Yeah I agree. It seems that whilst Paddy is no different, Max is a lot older, more matured, and less... well er bouncery!! Anyway, still funny though :P
