Title: M&p Boxset!!
icklebelter - July 12, 2006 10:08 AM (GMT)
Just found this Max & Paddy boxset available through Play.com. It's a boxset of the 'Road to Nowhere' series and the 'Power of Two' dvd's. It's not available until October 23rd though, but a must for any M&P fans who are collectors of Peter Kay and Paddy Mcguinness merchandise.

It'll be interesting to find out eh Ian?!!! ;) I think Peter will bring his book out nearer to Christmas though, to get in on the Christmas rush an' that hehe. Remember how Peter said in his interview with Jonathan Ross recently, that he hadn't quite finished writing it. So He'll have to finish writing it (obviously) then get it all vetted by the publishers, then printed and stuff so it's quite a long process. Should be fun though :) I'm intrigued :) Plus don't forget there's Paddy's live dvd coming out towards the end of the year too :D ;) (sorry to go slightly off topic then for a sec offt ) oopsies!!

Sounds interesting.
On the subject of boxsets, just saw on Amazon that a new Phoenix Nights boxset is out on October 1st:

I'm not sure faye, but I hope so otherwise it just seems a pointless maneymaking thing to me personally. Unless you're a die hard fan and like to collect all the merchandise and things

Looking at the write up on Play it's, to coin a phrase, 'same old same old'. I can't see any different extras to those which were on the discs in the first boxset. It'll probably wind up being new packaging and that's about it. We'll see but unless anything changes between now and release I think I'll be passing on this one!!! No offence kids!!!
