Who's he? I hear you ask!

Well technically he's not a stand up comedian, however he is a very VERY funny man! And very clever too. If you have heard of Dave Gorman and his experiment to see how many other Dave Gormans there are in the world, then you might like to know that it was a bet made with Danny his ex flatmate!

Or you may have heard about a chap a few years ago who tried to start up his own country? That was Danny! He created a place called 'Lovely' and appointed himself 'King Danny'. He has had thousands and thousands of people all over the world visiting his website and joining his 'country'. Yes myself included! :lol:
His site for Lovely is here;

Also Danny has created a 'collective, not a cult', where he asked people to 'Join him', by sending him a passport photo of themselves. Then they were simply asked to do random acts of kindness EVERY friday, or 'Good Fridays' as he calls them.
You can read an extract of chapter one of his book 'Join Me' here:
Click Me!
More information about 'Join me' can be found on his site:
JOIN ME Information
The actual site is here:
JOIN ME Website

I discovered all about this after reading his book 'Yes Man', where for a whole year all he said to anyone, any advert, in fact anything(!), was yes! So you know all the rubbish you get in your inbox asking if you'd like things...erm...enlarged, or offering strange pills and potions, well Danny said yes to it all! He did things he never thought he'd ever do and it turns out that being positive and saying yes to things can really improve your life! This has to be the funniest book I have EVER read, I cant recommend it enough.
Here's a little taster for you;

"I was pointing in the air and jabbing my finger with every 'Yes', and continued doing so long after Wag had gone to the bar.
It was probably this that attracted the man wearing the sombrero.
At first I assumed he was a Mexican, but slowly began to realise that a real Mexican probably wouldnt be wearing a sombrero in a London nightclub. And he'd probably have a real moustache, not a stick-on one. A Mexican with a stick-on moustache would be like a Super-Mexican, because he'd have two moustaches, and that'd be cool, because a Super-Mexican could probably use his poncho as a cape, and then I realised I was saying all this to the man's face."

And now I am reading 'Join Me' and again I'm proper laughing out loud, and loving Danny's humour more and more!

So guys....will you Join Danny too and do some good in the world? :)

I really like this guy,hes so funny!
He was on a show which Davina McCall presented called 'hes having a baby' (doubt any of you have seen it,was about first-time dads but it got alot of bad reviews and i think the series was cut short) he was going to different hospitals every week trying to convince mums to call their babies Barry :lol: apparently Barry is the most uncommon name!

I've heard of him too - Very funny, sharp and quick.

I knew him from the 'Are you Dave Gorman?' days. 'Specially when he tried to fiddle with Dave's emails to try and con him into a trip to Hawaii. Dave found him out and got one of the other Dave's to trash Danny's kite.

I need to get out more don't I?!
