Hmmm ok peeps not just an excuse for me to perv over my Rik (although obviously I will) but I think he is sooo under rated as a comedian and an actor it's just unreal :(
He's done so much that i couldn't possible list it all so I'll tell you my fave things

Bottom written by and staring rik and ade edomdson ran for 3 serieses on the beeb and 5 live sell out tours of the uk.I saw 4 out of the 5 live shows and with the exception of bottom 4 an arse oddity (which was rubbish) they were all fantastic. you can't beat toilet houmor and kn*b gags aplenty, throw in a few good fights, Rik Mayall sweating like a pig and saucy is in heaven! Then lets not forget the film spin off Guest house paradiso Rik on the big screen more toilet houmor more kn*b gags yay rik at his best!!!!!!!!

The new statesman ran for 4 serieses on ITV and is a truely fantastic and probably one of my top 3 Rik releted things! If you haven't seen it your should it shows on paramount comedy all the time! Rik plays a tory MP Called Alan Berisford B'stard (yummy) with no morals (no suprise there) fantastic! They have recently taken the show on the road and done a nation wide tour which I happened to catch once or 3 times lol the show was fantastic I was front row for all three hmmmmmm (but thats another story lol)

Drop dead fred what can you say about that it's a fantastic film and if you havent seen it then why not????

Ok I'll stop now i could go on about all the straight acting Rik has done such as Rik Mayall presents 6 short films all of which are fantastic (sex scene in one yippeeee riks first, on tv that is) and in all he looks sooo sexy (sorry but i needed to say that) His apperance in murder rooms the dark beginnings of sherlock holms (amazing) the knock (fantastic sex scene i have the screen shots) Jonathan Creek (its a perm)The black canary hmmmmmmmmm
but lets not forget The Comic Strip presents far too many to mention them all. All about George fantastic tv and also his amazing book 'bigger than hitler better than christ (and also amazing book tour lol) the young ones, all the voice over work. The Blackadder Blackadder 2 and Blackadder goes fourth ahhh lord flash!!!!
the list goes on and on and so could i but i'll stop

I really like Rik too. I'm always watching the Bottom DVDS. My boyfriend and I was babysitting his neice over summer and we put it on thinking she'd just play with her toys - but no, she sat there giggiling away to herself for ages. The following week, whilst babysitting again she asked if we can watch the naughty men again! I hope she doesn't copy them!!!

Ahhh just LOVE Rik and Ade.... the character in Bottom are just so awful you gotta love them... and the Young Ones... pure joy !!!

There both amazing(though I have a special soft spot for Rik :D :wub: )and I'm obbsessed with their work at the moment,most of all Bottom and The Young ones!

I have always liked his work. He isn't someone I would drool over but I like him as an actor and I was devastated when he had that accident that nearly killed him. He is a good bloke.

Rik & Ade are brilliant! I prefer Ade, but his recent ventures have been a bit...bad. Doctors and Nurses was diabolical

I never saw docs and nurses but I have to say I'm loving him in Holby city Percy is super but Ade will never be as sexy as Rik (I think I'm in there girls)
And the super news is theres talk of a west end run for the newstatsmen play and another tour in the spring so look out rik i'm comming back for some more :lol:

I didn't realise Ade Edmondson was in Holby City until the other night.
I must say, he doesn't suit serious acting.

I left it on for five minutes just to see if he started to crack someone over the head with a bed-pan!

Sadly, he didn't , so I switched it off. Holby City is depressing!
