Hello,
After discussing this with a few members, I've decided to add this topic where you can put up your photos of yourself and any famous people that you've met.
It would be nice if there was a little story about how the photo came about.
Its just a little bit of fun really so don't worry if they are not that famous. I just think it would be nice to see everybodies photos and also quite challenging to see who we could get in the future.
So come on, don't be embarrassed - lets see them!!!

This is a photo of myself (1st left) and my future brother-in-law in Barcelona with Lisa Riley (aka Mandy Dingle) and her friends. We met them in an Irish bar and had a few drinks with them.
Lisa was really lovely and erm, quite tipsy too! She was telling us to watch our bags and wallets as she had been robbed twice during the weekend and had the bruises to prove it. She now had to resort to stuffing her money and her lippy down her bra! - don't worry though, there was plenty of room in there!!!

Yey, thanks Haze for sharing. I really like Lamar - he's really grown on me lately. Nice photo too.

I havn't really got any photos of me with anyone famous, i think the only famous person I've seen is Dan from big brother 5 in a train station lol,me and my sister saw him,he smiled at us :lol: maybe coz we were staring :lol:

Great pics Kegs and Haze!!!!! I've got a couple of pics of Lemar from when I met him briefly after his show last year in Manchester. I couldn't actually get a photo with him as there were just too many people pushing behind me and I was right at the front and I couldn't move :unsure: But he did pose for me and signed my album cover, so I was more than happy!!! I really like his voice, and he's great live!!!! (thumbs up)





I'm willing to share some of my pics with you of me with other celebs, but I can't post a lot of them as they were taken long before I ever had a digital camera, and as some of you also know I've still not got round to getting myself a scanner :unsure: Let me know if you'd like to see some of my pics. It'll take me a while so please bear with me. I'll see what I can find on my computer for now then I'll post more later.

Awww they're all lovely pics :) I have pics with mostly all of the Osmonds (but they're probably not of any interest to anybody but another Osmond fan LOL), David Essex and Ian Wright. I'll have to have a hunt and see what I can find if anybody want to see them

I agree....absolutely great pics!!!! Mel I am soooo jealous...

I guess I am the oldest in the gang and being a teen of the sixties my experiences are best left unphotographed....lol good job the News of the World wasn't following our antics. I have met rock bands and individual rockers who in a lot of cases are no longer around but in those days we didn't take photos, we let the papers do that..

Who?? well the Rolling stones were playing the Marquee when we were in the recording studios at the other side of the building, now THAT was a night. Sadly Brian Jones died about a year later. We went to Cliff Richards house the day before he left to make the movie Summer Holiday, he was NOTHING like he is now. The Beachboys, wow, they were amazing..and many more sixties bands as we were part of that and on the band circuit then.

In todays world the only photo I have is one you have seen already with me and Paddy, only you don't see me as his hand is on my back...don't ask.

Also the New Seekers (1967) Mike and Bernie Winters, Harry Secombe, Spike Milligan and many more

But no photos to prove it..

But the lil Maxster is pretty famous and you have all seen him and that for me is good enough

And Mel - WOW - how did you get on stage with him? I don't think I've heard the story behind this before!!!
If you've got any other photos and you can't scan them, then just cheat and take a photo of it using your digi camera. This works better without a flash and may take a couple of attempts, but I do it all the time because I hate scanning!
OOO and Graham Norton - fantastic! Who else have we got... the lovely Rik and more Lamar. They are all fab.
The funny thing about this too, is that we are probably gona see crazy photos of each other from when we were about 12!

LOL Thanks Kegs :) The story behins Darren Hayes and me onstage is a long one, but I'll do me best. Basically as part of his show he picks someone from the audience to join him onstage for the Savage Garden karaoke challenge hehe it was pretty funny. And at this particular show he picked me because "She's got horns on" :lol: it was great fun and Darren was lovely, kept checking to make sure I was ok, but I was soooo nervous. His assistant even gave me pink champagne while I was onstage and I was shaking so much I nearly dropped the glass, so I necked the drink quick and put the glass down before I dropped it :rolleyes: I even sang up there too. Darren pinched my glass of champers, so I thought right ya bugger, I'm having a sing too, so in return I nicked his microphone and sang part of a verse while he drank my drink. It was completely a spur of the moment thing I had no idea how I did it, because like I say I was soooo nervous and when I think about it now I cringe - I stole Darren Hayes' mic :unsure: . Several months after this show though I had a message from a friend who was at the same show and she said she had it all on video so I now have it on video to keep. It was a fantastic experience and I'll never forget it, or the huge hugs Darren gave me. I was even complimented on my camerawork by Darren and his band :blink: I was thinking afterwards maybe I should've told them about how I have a diploma in Media studies and have worked a camera before LOL but I didn't hehe I also had LOADS of pics sent to me from all my 'Darren Hayes' friends. I was a member of his fan club for a while and made loads of friends there and most of the fan club was at the same show and they all sent me pics of me onstage with Darren so i ended up with over 100 pics :blink: I still haven't had all of them printed yet :wacko: sorry for going slightly OT :unsure:

Anyway that's the story behind that.

I've met Rolf Harris too he's cool, I was his lil' assistant briefly too. I helped him to his seat and stuff at a book signing he did a few years ago. I have pics but again it'll have to be pics of pics sorry folks. Yeah Kegs it can be hard to get a pic of a pic with your digital camera, but somtimes I turn the flash off and it works :)

O I love that story - its like a dream come true. Saying that though I couldn't do what you did, nobody has ever heard me sing - ever!
I understand what you mean about how you don't know how you did it, coz something inside just sorts of takes over in situations like that and then you look back thinking 'no that wasn't me, cringe'.
Its great that everybody sent you photos, I wish I had a few more of when I was on stage with Paddy in Liverpool. I remember seeing flashing lights, so I know they are out there somewhere!!!
You sound like one of my friends who has everything like that happen to her, shes so lucky. She's had Shane Richie knock on her door for those daz adverts that he used to do and she got picked out of all of us crazy Ant and Dec fans to be a backing dancer on this morning when we were about 13! (we used to go to the studios during the holidays to catch a glimps of the likes of let loose, sean mcguire and Ant and Dec - yes we were sad!)

OMG!!! No way!!!!!! I loved Let Loose , Sean Maguire and Ant & Dec back when they were PJ& Duncan even saw Ant& Dec on tourhad a banner and everything (lmaorolls) Saw them perform 'Let's get ready to Rumble' at one of my local under 18's night's and they signe one of my fave posters of them, sadly got no pics from that night, it was far too crowded. I met Let Loose several times my fave was Lee :unsure: Got a few pics of them though hehehehe Oooo-eck... all my secrets are coming out now. There's plenty more where they came from I can tell you.... embarrassingly (OOO) Oooh the stories I could tell heheh (tease) :P (Kar)

R Lee was my fave too. I loved everything back then as long as it was male! Think your hormones go a bit loopy at that age.
I went to Ant & Decs & Seans concerts too, only ever in Liverpool though. God I was obsessed. I'm made up you remember sean mcguire - I adored him to bits and I used to give him prezzies whenever I met him!!! I'l dig out some photos later on or in the week.
I was gutted when Richard & Judy moved to London, infact I'd still be down there now freezing my bits off coz it was always worth it!

Sorry everybody for going off topic - just got a tad excited and felt like a teenager again!!!!
