Jimmy's going on tour around the UK in October/November and has FOUR (yes FOUR) Yorkshire dates under his belt at Sheffield City Hall, York Grand Opera House, Bradford St. George's Hall and Leeds Grand Theatre.

I'm planning on going to see him in Leeds. Anyone like him and, if so, do you think it's worth paying nearly £17 just to see him in action?

To be honest I've only seen him do standup once when it aired on C4 (or one of it's sister channels!!) and I wasn't overly impressed. I personally think he's a much better TV host than standup comedian -- don't know why, just my thinking.

But don't let me put you off. if you want to go see him live go for it!!! (thumbs up) You can tell us all about it afterwards. ;)

I prefer him on '8 Out Of 10 Cats' but that's only cos of Dave Spikey, hehe!

I won't be put off. I want to go but I don't have anyone to go with cos they're all either too busy or don't like/can't stand him, so there you go.

If I don't go, I'll just make do with getting his DVD or something later on... *ahem*

i think i'm so used to him as a presenter,seeing him doing stand up would seem weird :blink:

though,saying that,im sure his stand up would be good,and leslie if you decide to go,sure you'll enjoy yourself loads!

In that case, I'll probably end up going on my own, haha!

(I did it with Paddy in Harrogate so I'll do the same again with Jimmy Carr in Leeds... that's if t'tickets ain't sold out...)

I think both his DVDs are fantastic. I can't wait to see him in Sheffield.
