The ‘Sherlock’ Forum Quiz

Welcome to the all new 2007 Forum Quiz. Ian has bravely trusted me to be your Quiz ‘master’ so here goes with a few guidelines

This quiz is a bit different in that you can cheat as much as you like, the answers are right here on your forum, on TV and on Peter and Paddy tour videos and dvd’s…the idea is designed to show newcomers and remind old-timers of what is on offer here. When I started my search for questions, I was amazed at all the hard work the mods have put in and all power to our Ian for everything he does.

I was going to put them in some kind of order so you have Peter and Paddy questions each day, but I have decided to be kind and offer them to you as I explored and found them.

1. The answers to the questions are all here or on your dvd’s and vids and also TV so cheat away. Help yourself.

2. 5 questions will be given each day, please PM your answers to me for marking.

3. I am new at this so bear with me for up to date ‘how we are doing’ reports

4. There are 35 questions so the last 5 questions in the quiz will be on Saturday 2nd June. Because I am kind to you I will give you, and some of you are on holiday, you have until Wednesday June 6th at 8pm to reply. Obviously the answers can't be given out until then, but I will keep score so you know how you are doing. In the event of a tie-breaker which will be as soon as I can after the close time, I will give you some tie-breaker questions related to Bolton where Peter and Paddy come from and keep doing it until we have 2 outright winners. The main aim is to have our winners by Thursday June 7th.

5. I will accept no bribes on my birthday 5th June so don’t even think about it. ;)

6. The first prize winner will choose which DVD they would prefer leaving the other one for 2nd prize.

7. That’s it, any questions, please feel free to PM me or Ian. Ian isn’t taking part and has a copy of questions and answers.

Of course, please do. I have had a word with Admin and we decided that as a few people are on holiday this week I'll continue to ask the questions to the end which is Saturday, then leave the quiz open for people like yourself to catch up.

For many of the questions the answers are right here on the forum in downloads and so on. Even once you have submitted your answers to me as a PM message (so others don't see), you can still change them up until I say the quiz is closing, so just change your answer with another PM.

I never got time to come and have a go. I'm so sorry. I feel right bad.

I did do the first couple of days though, and I'd not seen The Match before so, thank you.

That's fine, I designed the quiz so members would look around and see what is on offer and you did that. Great!
