Justin Moorhouse - Saturday 15th September 2007
Dave Spikey - Wednesday 17th October 2007

I would LOVE to see the Spikey one live (again) but that's hit a snag cos it's my brother's birthday on the night of his appearance at the City Varieties. As long as my brother doesn't mind me skiving off that night (cos he loves Dave Spikey about as much as I do), I'll be happy. I can't take him with me, though, as he'll only just turn 13 that night and I reckon it'll be a 15+ thing.

Any idea how much tickets would be for the two events?

Total charge (inc fees) for Justin's show at the Opera house was £18.50, but that was Ticketmaster. Think they were £15 or so for Dave's. Your best bet would be to call the venue, and at the same time ask what the age limit is -- could be your brother's birthday pressie!! ;)

I've just checked the City Varieties website. There's no age limit on it but tickets are £17. And my mate can only afford to get two tickets for him and me, so my brother might have to miss out. I know he's too young and I only let him watch my comedy DVDs when I'm around, including my Paddy McGuinness Live.

I've already planned on what to get for my brother's birthday way before today, though, so he'll have to like it or lump it.
