At the start of Top of the Tower, Peter looks down and pretends to look out over traffic and lights and also going up in a lift. Why is this funny? It looks like an in-joke, but I don't get it. I could look at my dvd again and find out, but I thought I'd ask here first.
Hmmm... I don't know Marlene, but maybe Peter is scared of heights or something? Just a thought hehe I'll have to watch it now to have a look hehehe I'm curious

Hi Marlene
Is it because even though the DVD is called 'Top of the Tower' it was actually filmed at the bottom of the tower in the circus stalls/ring ???
I think he is just skitting (sorry!! bit of Lancashire twang entered there) that the curtain looks like it has stars on and they are pretending to be 'up the tower'. Like when he says about what a job it is getting all the animals in the lift!! I don't think it's that big up there (although I've never been... don't really fancy it).
Does this help?? (scratch) maybe not!!
Anita
