Does anyone know why a lot of the recent threads have simply dissapeared?

I'm also curious as to which threads you are referring. The Moderation team generally only remove spam posts or posts that could be deemed as disrespecful to the guys or our members. :)

And I'd like to welcome you and Sophie to P&P. Hi thanks for the welcome guys. The threads in question were in the Pop Factor section, I don't believe there was anything demeaning or anything like that but they just dissapeared, I also originally signed up as Keith Lard and this was taken outalong with some threads I started, although possibly for reasons given at the end credits of the particular Pheonix Nights episode. Anyways Hello and Ill keep checking in as Im a huge fan of PK and the others!
