As the producers of Britains got the pop factor. have already apologised and told mr Gerry king that the sharing of names between Geraldines former male self and him are entirely coincidental. I think that ranting at channel 4 is pointless and will get him nowhere. As for the people who are bothering Mr King, if they want to be childish then let them be. I'm almost certain that there are more gerry kings out there who get stick from people because of the show, but I doubt that they have gone to channel 4 and complained. am I just chatting a load of bull here or do I have a point? (be brutal) :)

I take it you mean that someone who happens to have the same name as 'Geraldine's' former male name, in real life, has made a complaint to channel 4 about the use of his name? ah well... you know what they say... 'there's always one' lol You can't please everyone no matter what you do (generally speaking) a similar sort of thing happened with Peter's character of Keith Lard if I remember rightly.

The difference with Keith Lard was that Keith Laird was actually involved in the fire service in Bolton wasn't he?
