Just thought i'd start a topic about live8 when it gets shown on bbc1 on wednesday july 6th. then we can post all our views and funny bits in here!

Just thought I'd mention I've just heard that Live8 may well be being shown on a big screen in Exchange Square in Manchester!!! (thumbs up) Wouldn't mind going to watch it there meself, just hope the weather's fine hehe :D ;) :P

cool!!! just realised i think the one being shown on the big screen in Manchester is on 6th July??? I'm forgetting there's more than one Live8 gig am I right?? :unsure: anyway, sorry if I'm wrong, but I'll find out for definite and will let you know ;) (thumbs up)
I wanna see U2 live!!! gutted I missed out on their recent tour :(

good point!!! :D Bet they bring it out on dvd in time for Christmas anyway so if any of it is cut out it'll more than likely be on that, provided of course they do bring it out on dvd ;)

I hadn't even thought of that! They might do because that's a good way for them to make more money for charity, besides they did it for Live Aid, so you never know! ;)

I really think I've got confused along the lines somwhere with the showing on the big screen in Manchester of the Live8 concert. I'll have to see what I can find out, cos..... er..... well I'm confused :wacko: (as I've said before, doesn't take much to confuse me haha) don't suppose you know anything defenite or could find out Kay1? I've had a browse on t'internet but no joy as yet :unsure:

Thanks Dawneh, no idea where I got the 6th July from :wacko: anyway, I've managed to find out from t'internet its being shown on the big screen on the 2nd July :D Looking forwsrd to it ;) Just wish I could go, I REALLY would LOVE to see U2 and The Killers :D :D
