who is interested in doing a one off D&D campain for lv 50? :ph43r:
if the answer is yes: have your character read for wednesday of the last week (which i was informed is the time of the end of term party)
now you can pick any class as long as its legal with the races that you have been restricted to, which are:
1- Kilk: these are ant-men like, noble and wise, also into travel and ansestors,
-2str, +2 dex, -2con, -2int, +2wis
4 arms, +1 natural armour, silk ability, bite atk D4, speed 30mph. may not be evil or chaotic

2- Ormanguchins: very noble monkey men, obsesed with honour come in 3 different categories (due to their rituals of initiation)
horned: +2str, +2con, -2dex, -2cha, gore atk D6
winged: -2 st, -2con, fly 40mph
tailed: +2dex, +2 balance, +2 climb, +2 tomble
all get a +1 atk with slash weapons, 30mph ground move
must be lawful, cant be evil

3- Flunard: emerasies of the gods, have no face and count as outsiders (native)
-4str, +2dex, -6con, +4int, +4wis, +4cha
spell power +1, 30mph move
cant be evil or chaotic

4-Knugrat: crazy little creatures that just keep growing (in the game you'd be gargantuan)
-6 wiz, +2 int, -2cha, +2 dex, size mod
random tech ability (i'll work it out), crazy luck 1 re-roll a day, 1 bonus luck feet, incomprehensible, 30mph move+ mod. must be chaotic, can't be evil

5-Genaren: very angry flightless birds with a parazite problem
+4con, -4cha, -2dex, +2str
bite atk D4, +2 heal, +2 intimidate, 25% health fortitude save dc15 or paralysed, aura of fear- will dc15 or -1 atk, check, save, 30mph move
must be evil

I don't mean to sound harsh or anything, but . . .
It took an entire day to do a lv45 battle, you won't fit a lv50 battle into the party, if you want to do something like that you'll need to organise it for a weekend when you have the time and space to make an epic battle work.

Ulgulanoth - November 30, 2007 04:36 PM (GMT)
and here i though we could get a bunch of battles in....

nerulean - November 30, 2007 05:32 PM (GMT)
We did four rounds of combat in about six hours. Level fifty is going to take you a long, long time to do anything.

Yeah, high-level battles take forever; there are so many options that people take ages to make decisions, especially if they've only had a week or so to prepare - they won't know the sheets well enough.

It's also a strain on the DM if you're planning on juggling more than about three epic characters or monsters in a single battle - and even three's probably pushing it.

Also, with the house set up for the party, I wouldn't be able to accommodate role playing as well, so you would need to find a venue.

Ulgulanoth - December 1, 2007 11:23 AM (GMT)
venue aint a problem.... a time limit would keep things going.... i think i've sorted everything out....

Ulgulanoth - December 1, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
quick q, how many people are interested?

Pandemonium - December 1, 2007 04:11 PM (GMT)
I don't mind if the fight is extended beyond the party, I'm just concerned about space and ease of executing the RP at the party. Kev himself has already said it wouldn't work out well. But anyway... For wherever and whenever the uber battle takes place, count Akhmin the Angry Birdie in. I'm pretty sure that Ben will also be there munchkining away like a madman with Kastius. ;)

*Cough.*

ya given the lack of intrest/enthusiasm i'll prospone this till next term... dam it i hate when this happens!
