I just realized that 1440x900 is HD. I haven't made a video in 1440x900 ever since I changed my screen resolution to that.

What do you mean , exactly?
There is a bunch of settings, under the Setup tab.

As for Exporting to AVI

Setup -> Video Export Setup -> Use Xvid codec*
Click [OKAY]

Google Search
Xvid Codec Download

Install that, then you should be able to export to AVI.

it looks really easy to play as sheva tribal, one hit kills really speed the whole thing up a lot. guessing aiming requires a bit of practice though.

there were a few bits in there where your aim just seemed to spaz out, what was going on with that?

DAMN WIZARD! How'd you get it in HD? What PC recorder did you use? FRAPS? Game Cam? And What Movie Maker did you use as well?

I use Growler GunCam, which is a video recorder / screenshot taker MEANT for gaming.

After you record a video, it puts it in GCF format, which is a format exclusive to the program (to my knockledge that is). Then, you can select a video from the list [or image] and Export to AVI [if it's video]

This is the EXPORT Screen, as you can see its verry well developed






After I pick Export to AVI, it'll proc a new box, allowing a few more editing editing options, and at the bottom, the export quality.Obviously lower the quality, smaller the AVI size. I always use 80%



In my Capture Setup options, my resoultion is 1440x900, FPS [frames per second] is 30FPS


At the moment I got a cracked verison, though I am heavily considering buying the offical retail verison, to support all there excellent work in this tool. I'm very pleased with it :)

I tried to install the crack, and my computer froze. I got a message saying a registry file was corrupt, and my computer froze.

Was I supposed to install the trial first?

just went on no mercy for the first time, jammiest thing ever happened. i was shotgunning the shit out of everything, thanks to the massive enemy spam my combo was really high for most of the match and so was my ammo count, unfortunately all i was getting healthwise was red herbs and when i went up the first building and off the other side i had seemingly dropped right into a spawn point as they suddenly seemed to be surrounding me en masse. i lasted about as long as it takes to say oh shit lol.

I did. I installed the trail, used that for a little bit, then used that crack tool on the GunCam.exe, and everything worked perfectly.

Well, I've died in the mode many times myself, it's just recently that I've actually been able to keep alive haha, but I recommand going around the level, getting all the time, then fiding a compacked room and have everything come to you, it seems to work best for me B)

i tried using that room with the destrucatble wall, it worked until the axeman showed up and opened it up, had to get out before i was surrounded. its a truly awesome gameplay mode, but i really wish they had implemented it into the singleplayer as well, it would really make all that ammo and health you collect as you go through the other difficulty levels worthwhile.

Ah yeah, that house is fine for awhile but the problem is, there is multiple openings so that's a good way to be really swarmed.

The house I always use is that wooden cabin above the "Sewers", you know that ledge you can jump down? and there is a red barrel and the chicken running around. The wooden cabin has that timer in it, then I just sit in there, and let everything come in, in 1 entrance. Yes the house does fill up to the rim multiple times, however like 1 punch will knock everything back and then BAM! Shotgun! haha

IT also keeps all the items in 1 tight spot, so it's pretty much impossible to run out of ammo.

If done correctly you'll kill everything that comes to the point where enemies stop spawning around there, and you have to leave the house and run around to cause triggers to go off to spawn more enemies.

went in there for a bit as well but i kept geting cephalos and was running out of shottie ammo just keeping the horde back, after i blew up that barrel i made a run for it, i kept on the move to try and keep all the spawn points alive, never went into the sewers though. cant wait to get the real game so i can play online.

I suppose it could depend on what character your using, to how good that'd work.

In the cabin I kicked it's ass with Chris STARS, because his Grenade Launcher with pretty much any ammo (besides flash) kills the entire wave with 2 shots...it's epic :D

As for playing online, well as you see in the dialog on the menu, No Mercy is single player only, which is such a shame :( But I guess the reason for that is, that would be alot of stress on someones internet service to host all of that, include games for windows live.


I play regular mercenaries from time to time, now. But I kinda find it boring because I'm so use to no mercy now, haha.

Woot! I managed to beat all enemies! :D





...I did this with Tribal Sheva, now here is the kicker. At around 1:09 left on the timer, I ran all over the place trying to find the last enemy... around 50 seconds later, I heard a voice coming from the other side of the wall, so I shot eletric rounds at a roof near by it,and it killed the enemy with only 00:00:"57" time left xD

i know about no mercy being single only, but it will be so much more interesting playing with a partner, and who knows, maybe with the advances in mercs modding, regular mode can be just as entertaining as no mercy.
and if the max enemy count can be increased or even removed matches could be far more frantic and lengthy.

i know its been brought up about modding competitions, but has anyone thought of a mercs competition? you could have team matches and single player ones running the scoreboard using the printscreens. you could even have requested mod prizes or something for winnars. if nothing else it will be fun, and it might keep the forum more active during slower periods as more people will join in the fun rather than just lurking.
seems a bit of a waste not to think about it now there is a multiplayer aspect and several enemy altering mods to make more challenging games for pros.

So I was looking for some random people to play with in Duo Merc, so I joined a game, and we got a score of 632,321

BUT
When we got back to the stage selection, he sends me a msg saying
"u are to noob for high score..."

So I send a message back "Excuse me? How the hell am I a noob"
He replys
"u play like a noob, you know where the timers are but nothing more"

So I said back, I did like 50 neck breakers for +5 seconds you fucking idiot

thats a pretty metal score, but i was wondering something about the melee time bonus thing, do you get extra time if its a team up melee combo or is it just plus five still?

i have this wierd problem on my copy with the keypad quick inventory, the top and bottom layers keep randomly flipping in game, and since i cant figure out what the fuck is wrong with it i have just decided to keep my guns on the middle row lol. sods law that that will flip sideways or something lol. its probably cause its cracked, have to wait till jan to find out though.

i only really know the public assembly locations since idont actually go on it as often now, want to be fresh for online matches but not bored to death of it or have everything unlocked. know what i mean?

If the enemy dies by a special attack, you get +5 seconds, doesn't matter if it's a team "Combo" attack.

As for your Merc Competition above, that is a good dea but that only issue is someone could use a trainer and cheat =[

It'd have to be video recorded, it's the only way. Which is probably the best way, anyways.
