I just decided to get the game because if i had not, then i woulda just went up to gamestop for nothing. I have to say that it is one of the best games I have for ps3 now (even tho my ps3 library is pretty assish right now). and the co-op is so awesome as well, does anyone agree with me?

I've tried it on PC and i can't help comparing it to Fallout 3.Fallout 3 outclass it in every category but the game is easy to pick up and play and i really kind of like the atmosphere, art direction, and arcade vibe to it.I have a Creative X-FI fatality pro sound-card and the sounds effect and musics quality of this game are just insane."Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" (Bus music at the beginning) is my favorite one :>.A definite pick up for me in November.

from the reviews, the pc version is shit compared to the consoles, something about lag. anyway this game is so amazing. the theme as you have said is awesome, the 300k+ guns are cool, and this is one of the games that will never get boring, well unless, you have used all 300k+ guns

guessing youd have forgotten most of them at that point lol.
the randomised weapon idea will probably still only have a dozen or so models between them you know, it will just be ammo, colour, reloading style and general stats that change, its an rpg system but with a shitload more variants. the fact they are random though means you could end up with a damn fine gun at the start and get weaker ones as you go on a playthrough, they must have some kind of levelling system for them.
on fallout 3 i got the superalien blaster, the firelance, at the supermarket almost as soon as i left the vault on my last playthrough, i popped so many boners lol.

yes there is a leveling system for the guns.
the game is kool and the co-op is the best part of the game. the first co-op experience i played where i dont need to use my mic to feel like a team (l4d)
