does ANYBODY remember that great game from 2000? ya know Deus Ex. It was a real kickass FPS/RPG hybrid. then in 2003 Xbox owners got fucked over with a piece of crap sequel: Deus Ex: Invisible War. It sucked mainly because Eidos can't make any good games and all the work in the original was done by Warren Spector and Ion Storm. Well I hope that DX3 doesn't suck as much but since Ion Storm went out of business....

or if u really want I'll send u a bootleg copy of the original "DX"
(since it uses the unreal engine it can be used even on vista :D )

Invisible War (Stupid title) came out on the PC also, if you weren't already aware. It was just as shite on the PC! It got good to great reviews though, which just goes to show most game magazines/sites and the like ar getting back handers to give games a high rating.

With the way all these crappy sequels are going, which bare little relation to the classic games there based on, I don't see Deus Ex 3 being any less shite than those.

Half Life seems to be the only classic that's remained consistantly great. Then again, RE series has gotten (for the most part) consistently better!

i feel like playing Deus Ex now. Know any good mods? Hasn't anybody totally revamped the gfx etc for modern systems yet?

Well i seem to agree with you all the way.. and i did try bootlegging DX2 but then i realized its probably a waste of my precious hard drive space (i only hav about 16 gig left :( ) and sadly the only dx mods i know of are for multiplayer if you can come to the {FPS}Toxic server i'm {FPS}M16... wait... you're not an [A] member are you? my clan leader hates that clan :rolleyes:

You ever played Outcast? I've been playing that again lately, and it does give you a sort of Deus Ex kinda arcade adventure fix. It was out long before Deus Ex though.
