Nah, your no a nerd, man :D Even if you've never played it, Wipeout has become almost as iconc as Space Invaders and the like. Your missing out though. Every hardcore gamer should have played it at lease once!

Yeah racing, no big storyline or plot, just a bit of background history on the sport itself.

Isnt this for ps1? I remember there was a pub when I was a kid and it had a gaming bit, there where 4 ps1s with worms armageddon, wipeout or whatever that is, some old racing game and the other one was broken. good times, good times :)

ePSXe's option to use all kinds of different shaders enables you to make the game look damn sexhe if you ask me. It moves a a blinding pace also.

I'll try and track it down, give it a go on ePSXe. I played Ape Escape on it the other day, with the cell shading level way up, and I swear it looked next gen! (PS2 not PS3 of course!) Can't wait for the next release.

It was like a poor man's version of Syphon Filter. I liked it because instead of Gabe Logan wearing diapers, I played girl characters.

Though, years later, I learned that this game was not for the girls, but for the guys to oggle at. Oh wells. The chix kick major butt. Go girls!

Isn't it always the way, kinda sad really when you think about it. It is 2008 for christs sake! Girl characters in games have to be VERY visibly distinguishable it seems.

the only thing i thought was cool about danger girls was that the guy who made it was related to bruce campbell, and he had this cool interview in the front of an annual with a cartoon backdrop with props from all his movies, really smartly done. that and that naz gas mask cyborg with the double barreled machine gun.

i liked syphon filer 1 but wasnt that bothered at 2, it did actually have weaker graphics and back then i must have had add, but the plt wasnt as good either, was fun how it was connected to one though.

been wanting to get a ps2 emulator so i could play fatal fram and siren series games, things that should have also been released on pc but for some reason were left on that pos ps.

I tried some ps2 emulation a little whale back. It's come a very long way, some games play and look fantastic, others it won't touch. I always hated the ps2 even when I had one. Worst thing is, one of my fave games of all time is on the ps2, ICO and to a lesser extent, Shadow of Colossus, but ICO is just fucking great. I hate that games can't just be released on one unified platform. It's fucking ridiculous when you think about it. Thank fuck for emulators, even if we do have to wait a few years after the game was released. A classic is a classic, however old the game is.

Thanks for using your "Will" But maybe you diddnt use it enough, you see, my ps1 has been broken for 2 years, maybe you could use your "will" to fix it? :lol:
