well it ended on a big cliffhanger really, what happens to him? before i read onyx i though that was the world they were heading for.

so i think the will make another halo, even if not part of the original part, under another name or something episodic to make another trilogy, like penumbra or hl.

The next Halo will be Halo Wars, so, it's a prequel.

Bungie said that they will be working in the Halo Universe.
A rumor said that the next Halo (After Halo Wars) will be a Third Person Shooter, and we will not control John.

So, I can research the sources for you. ^^

But, maybe a next Halo on this mysterious planet.

they keep camncelling then restarting halo wars so it probably wont come out, kind of sad but you have to admit, the humans wouldnt stand a chance.

havent you guys played MARATHON!!!!! there remaking MARATHON people! that old fps for the mac!? the first game that changed the gaming revolution with being able to aim up down left and right and actually being able to melee! that is john in that game but they decided to change the armor in the halo series because back then the armor looked cool but for todays group...not really, marathon was made by bungie and guess what planet u crash on at the beginning ONYX! IN THAT HALF OF A SHIP! isnt it obvious <_< especialy since now there releasing a bunch of marathon downloads on xbox's marketplace

he doesnt land on onyx, i've read the book, its a sheildworld, made entirely of sentinels and sentinel factories, on the surface its like winter so theworld would be mostly white, and the spartan 3 trainsing facility is there till the world wakes up. it tuirns itself into sentinels or something way before the end of the war.

so if its not there he cant land on it...sorry dude.

bungie also said there wasnt going to be a halo 3 or 4 -_- and the terminals in halo 3 talk about marathon, and there ment to be just like the termials in marathon and yes some where on bungie.net they stated that marathon and halo are the same thing

The terminal in Marathon are just some "archives" of the Foreruenners. Halo and Marathon are very similar, but not the same thing, yes, theories of Halo and Marathon are the same universe, but I don't think it. Marathon start 241 years after Halo, so, John and Cortana are dead (An IA can live only 7 years). They are juste similarities and Easter Eggs, that's all. But, there is a "hole" in the marathon history...

SPARTAN II's CAN theoretically have sex...the Fall of Reach just says that their sexual drives are heavily repressed. Physically, then can do it, they're just programmed to not want to. :D
