Well I've been playing Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 alot lately, and it's great... I'm serious; I love almost every aspect of this game. Everything from the selection of guns to the character customization... I frigg'in love character customization. I had a few ideas on how they should improve the next one though, because lets face it you know they're going to make a sequel even if they have officially announced the Vegas trilogy as being over.
Weaponry changes:
- I think they need to add quite a few guns to the list in R6; Colt 1911, M4, Uzi 9mm, G36C, MP5K, and various others that just feel like they should have been in the game.
- Weapons customization; alright well there are many times one gun makes almost 20 different derivatives, why not make it where guns have sub-categories? You select an Mp5, but there would be 3 or 4 different versions to choose from. Also, I really think you should be able to equip 2 add ons to a gun. Also, ammo should not be an add on; I believe bringing in a weight system would be great, you can put bigger clip and magazines on your gun, but they'll seriously weigh you down.
- The encumbrance system was actually kind of annoying. I can carry a mac11 and wear full armor and I'm slow as possible, but if I wear no armor and carry a heavy machine gun I'm fine? Honestly the game needs to factor weapons and armor into how fast you can move.
- Just throwing this out there, but how about making more terrorist style outfit parts available to players, that way multiplayer can be a little more interesting.
- I've heard so many complaints on this suggestion, but there needs to be some kind of stealth kill when you're right up on an enemy. I know it's not realistic to get that close as a military operative... but it's a game... a Tom Clancy game at that.
- Duel wield? Naw, I'm kidding, that wouldn't fit in at all... would it?
Just my little list of suggestions for what they might need to improve upon for the game.
