Ah... I remember when I was like, 5 or 6, I used to spend entire afternoons playing Super Mario World, trying to complete a single world... or Donkey Kong Country......
Cmon, share your memories!

My fond memories of the Super Nintendo include the awesome F-Zero soundtrack, kicking my brothers arse with Blanca on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, completing the Special stages of Super Mario World and of course the original Rainbow road on Super Mario Kart.

Oh, right, SMK. I used to play it nonstop with myu brother... Rainbow Road is teh win
Also, I fucked up my thumbs several times trying to do a Hadouken in Sf2 =P
Robert_GameXpert - July 21, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
Heh yeah the hado-ken was awesome, as was Chun'Li's weird kick thing... no one could get past that lol

Playing it now, I can't understand how I couldn't do a single Hadouken.
Funny isn't it

Meh all it takes is a little practice to get the right combos going for each character.
dsk - July 22, 2007 01:17 AM (GMT)
I was never much of a combo player in sf
In Marvel andSNK games though...

I really think the NES era was much more significant then the SNES era.
I mean SMB,Metroid,Chip and Dale,Contra I,Castlevania
I know most of those had SNES sequels , but just the fact that those were the first in the series and came up with the formula of the games.

Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, SF2 Turbo, Mortal Kombat 2...and the most underrated game on the SNES that I still enjoy through emulation is Alien 3 - has the right atmosphere, good music and enjoyable gameplay.
Didn't really get in Mario Kart till it came to the N64.
p.s. I know I've revived a dead thread. B)
