the demo just gave me a frozen black screen, made me restart, when i turned off ace codecs like you have to do in the other fear games and condemned, it just gave me an error box. updated my drivers and it still didnt work, fuck it, another new game that i cant play.

its odd cause satyr has pretty much the same system as me and it worked for him.

srs dude, geforce 8800 gts
dual 2.7 2.8 processor
2 gig of ddr2 ram
if i had crysis installed id screenie it, right now i only have fallout 3 and sh homecoming on though. i just get a black screen on trying to start the demo i tried looking for it and apparently its a rare problem, still doesnt help me much though as i doubt they'll try and make it more compatible.
the 8800gts is a relatively old card now, but its still powerful enough to run crysis on full, its really wierd since nothing should have trouble running on this system unless its more hardcore than that, and nothing is apart from its expansion (warhead will only run well on medium, it starts to lag a shitload in cutscenes so i keep it on a more comfortable setting)
