when it comes to modding fallout, the geck brought fallout 3 to life, i think more companies should create active modding communities for games, hell its part of why unreal is so popular when all it does is release the same game every other year.

That mother kickass rifle, my friend, is from a mod called Alexscorpian's Sniper Gear. ;)

do these mods replace regular gear? and i take it there on fallout 3 nexus armrite? i cant find anywhere else that does f3 mods, there are no more filefront portals being made now for some reason.

i never bother with the f3 rifle, i prefer the unique laser gatling gun for me, and eugene for jericho, charon is uber as he is so i just t-51b him and keep the best armour in the game perfectly preserved.

i dont like membering up on everysite i can if i have any other option, the spam barrages ive had in the past have made me a little more cautious, but for the FUCKING SPACE MARINE POWER ARMOUR i think i'll make an exception lol. just a shame theres no mod to replace eugene with a heavy bolter lol.

I was thinking about getting Fallout 3 but it looks too much more like an Oblivion mod to me.

oblivion was shit, this is the shit lol.

seriously get this game even if its just a download, it doesn't require a key or anything, if it wern't for it crashing every 1-3 hours on my comp without fail i'd have bought it by now myself.

in oblivion its copy paste countryside with shitty enemies and fighting where most of your hits miss anyway, not to mention how you never really get any stronger due to scaling enemies.

on f3 you can get super awesome win and at the beginning youre lucky if you can hit a supermarket from inside it, so there is real skill progression. the repair system means your armour levels with you to an extent, as a suit of power armour at 50% health is obviously more effective than a t shirt lol, weapons are largely the same, but you do get more accurate and effective with them as you level and add skill points to your character.

get dogmeat to join you then kill him or get him killed, it isnt hard, you can then get 2 human henchmen, if you dont finish the stealing independence quest you can keep sydney from teh national archives as well, although you need to use the console to make her effective as she doesnt heal like normal henchmen....dont bother with sticky in little lamplight he wastes ammo and cant hit shit lol.

so really you can have a whole command squad to go with the space marine mod:P

alos, at the beginning set your character intelligence to 9, then in megaton get the irradiation quest and swim to rivet city in teh far south east of the map, you can swim the potomac all the way, in the science lab there you can get the intelligence bobblehead, wich will give you full intelligence and 20 skill points to assign a level.

I didn't like companions actually, they blew my cover when sneaking, although I always take dogmeat since he's good at distracting enemies

charon can be quite good for sneaking cause he gets down and knifey lol. although if you steal anything in underworld and he sees you your dead meat...his shottie is deadly.

the reason i never give him another weapon is cause not only is his shotgun really fucking powerful, but its got a tiny spread, ive seen him hit yau guai from like 100 metres with almost full strength shots.

mt fave hench is charon, hes got the whole power overwhelming thing and hes like a foot taller than everyone else in the whole game, but i think the main reason is his badass croaky voice. jericho is my second, cause i steal and hack all the time i only got the option for fawkes on my first playthrough, and the slave clover is just shit.

one thing i think is funny is if you give jericho cigarettes he doesnt use up the items themselves, but he does start to cough, slow down, wheeze more and if he has no helmet on, smoke them.
