Resident Evil 5 probally has the worste fucking AI i've ever seen! I mean, it is good SOMETIMES! But right now, I'm on my fourth playthrough (on pro-mode) and I keep getting attacked by the Licker Beta's. They keep fucking shooting their damn toungs out at my fucking neck. And KILL ME! I'm playing as Sheva and Chris just fucking STANDS there when I get attacked! He just fucking stands there. Looking at me. WHILE I'M FUCKING DYING! Eeeeeeh. I just felt like ranting about it...

Hold in your Partner button for about 1.5-3 seconds, it'll bring up a lil menu to set Sheva to Attack, instead of cover.
She is better that way.
Yes, AI partner can be retarded, you gotta learn there ways, once you learn how they work, you just play around it, and then you'r fine.

lol the a.i aint that bad. (they still aint good though. decent, in my opinion) just dont let them get too close. cant u just sneak past them? and the first encounter aint that hard, just use some grenades or machine guns.

are yall seriouse? ahley was morehelpfull in re4. i giv sheve the EFFING HAND CANNON and she pops it off like she con only use one bullet every 5 minutes......but she does use the sig550 well tho. but anyways PLAY WITH FRIENDS, and if friends cant play, PLAY WITH RANDOM PPL

if you unlock inf rocket launcher, the AI loves to stand in front of you, or dart across your FOV as your just about to shoot
AI is terrible. I think in pro, they've actually disabled the AI, because like he said.. your partner will shoot maybe once every 5mins, and will conserve ammo, not only that if anyone losses an 1/8th of health your partner loves wasting your full heal items right away ;)
the best AI moments are when your getting attacked, and your partner yells, "I'm coming" and then she/he stands there not even aiming or doing anything. just waiting for you to fall over.

oh yeah, thas realistic. if only in real liife, ppl came to ur aid if all u had to do was press the b button instead of standing 5 feet away doing nuthing. playing with real people that help u without u even screaming at them is def the wrong way to play :rolleyes:

(in NO way am i saying l4d has perfect AI, but hell, check the statistics of survival rate of re5 and l4d thru the whole game and then compare availible equips,items, and hordes and see if there a gap in percentage)
