Well last night I decided to go back and play MGS3. It's been a few years. So I did. Started a new game. From scratch. Had nothing. I chose the hardest fucking difficulty because I used to play on it when I was all badass with the game. The "European Extreme" difficulty or something. Harder than extreme. I'm half way through the game. I'm doing a runthrough with all non-lethal kills to get all the special camos and shit. There is this one boss.... that was a FUCKING BITCH to kill with non-lethal means. It's HARD ENOUGH on NORMAL mode! But on extreme extreme?!? WTF! So after spending the last 3 hours trying to beat it, I FINALLY DID IT! Yippee! Although, I'm still pissed off at how fucking hard that was.

Spider Camo: [Defeat The Fear non lethally with the Mk22; gives you a high camo index at the cost of stamina drain]

Wait... WHUT THE FUCK. Fucking Fear is the easiest goddamn boss. I didn't even fucking move. All I did, was stand still, with my thermal goggles. And shoot the mofo with the Mk22.

You suck. I hope you're aware of that.

I didn't have the thermal goggles. And I was on fucking extreme extreme. One hit and you're fucked. And the mk 22 only carries like 26 bullets instead of 40+. You CAN stand still most of the time, though.

Non-Lethally, Less Ammo, Hardest Difficulty, Less damage = Damned Hard.

Btw, I exagerated a bit when I said 3 hours.

Aaaaah idk. I'm a long-time Metal Gear Fan. I don't really consider myself to "suck".

He was a pain on my first time through, but his Camo was worth it.

Except that this is like my 20th playthrough. I haven't played for like 4 or 5 years, though. Btw, did I mension that I'm on EXTREME EXTREME?

And yes you did. I borrowed the game from a friend, who still hasn't beaten it, and it beat it on my first play through in 3 days. (Less than 24 hours)

Oh. Btw, guys. When you try to tranq him until he passes out, right when he gets really low on stamina, he gets REALLY REALLY fast, shoots down food, and eats it. Bam. You have to start ALL over. With barely any ammo. So I had to let myself die repeatedly.

Way to deal with bad guys in real life...let yourself die a few times :lol:

Kinda sounds like Vamp in Euro Extreme for MGS2. If you're not doing the hang/melee combo, it's really hard, especially if you only use the tranq gun.

The Fear can be really simple so long as you've stocked up on poisonous foods. Just throw them out in the open and he becomes a big target when he has to feed.

And you can still get his camo this way.

Out of all my years old playing MGS, I never knew that until recently when I saw a video.

In the last few days since I made this thread, I've killed the game for myself YET AGAIN. I've beat it 4 or 5 times. I unlocked the:

-Infinite Face Paint
-Stealth
-EZ Gun [Which completely ruins the game, btw. So I will just use the Mk22 if I ever play again on this save file]

I'm sure that in like 2 years, I'll come back and play it but now I've just completely lost interest. :lol:
