Resident Evil 2 [PS1] for me! :D

I voted for "Other" Why, you ask? Because, Resident Evil: Jill Naked was the best one, EVAR. It had OVER 9000!!! scenes of nudity.

Re2 for the sake of it being my first one and i still love the whole game/story.

RE5 as it was the first one i played and brought me into the series

I voted RE4 as it's the only one I ever played through. I tried Survivor on the psp, it was just too sloooooooooowwwwww paced by contrast, and same with nemesis. Also I tried Code veronica on the PS2, bored me to tears as well.

RE 3 - last escape ...my 1st contact with the series - so I vote for this one. after it I played 2 and 1. then 4 and soon 5.

Resident Evil 5 for the win. Love the co-op mode idea. (I am a sucker for multiplayer campaign)

I also voted for RE 5, for me it was a better game than RE4 (which was good game) I've started playing Resident Evil since RE4 so I didn't played the older ones.

Resident Evil 2 is first re that i play. So it's re2 (ps1) ;)

Why does everyone do everything backwards? lol. I played Resident Evil. Then I played Resident Evil Director's Cut for hopes of things being different. Then I played RE2. Then I played RE3 and so on. I've been an RE fan since the beginning [re1] but that's just me. I've noticed that most people here were brought into the Resident Evil world and did not help CREATE the Resident Evil World. Get what I mean?

weird... i dont see how anyone could play the re series without playing the first game, and definitely DON'T see how resident evil 4 or 5 is going to bring you into the series. either that means the other games werent "action packed" enuff for u to bother with or maybe just u were too young to know about the other games...but i doubt that. if re4 or re5 is the game that brought u into the series than this is a series u must not enjoy much becuz the two 4 and 5 are completely different from the others, besides characters i guess

Well screw you I'm a true fan, i just like the new ones more. Third Person appeals more to me than anything. 2nd is FPS.

I voted resident evil: director's cut because it's the first resident evil I played and I think it's the better resident evil of the entire saga.

My personal favorite Resident Evil game of all time, oddly, is Resident Evil 3. I just love the flow of the game, I can't even begin to tell you how freaking many times I've beat it on PC :lol:
So yeah, I've been into the series ever since I was a kid :)

To be a true fan of "RESIDENT EVIL" you have to have played and like the older titles better than the newer titles. That's what being an RE fan is about. Classic RE. A fan of SURVIVAL-HORROR. Not a fan of ACTION. Big big big big difference. Resident Evil 4 was sucked ass for an RE title. It still had a horrific setting so it wasn't all that bad. Resident Evil 5, now, I love the game. I just don't love it AT ALL as a Resident Evil title. I miss the old Resident Evil. Not this new and shitty action game.

exactly; re4 would have done just well if it didnt have the resident evil title to it, just another zombie game (or maybe it sold bekuz of the resident evil name) but to look at it as a resident evil game is not possible. so many guns and ammo makes the game too easy. where are the zombies? Alright, It's because i have a f*cking nightmare about Nemesis killing me with his Big A** rocket launcher. Well I am dreaming myself in Raccoon City trying to run away or something O_o but bastard shows up out of nowhere from a random building and boom! he shot me with his rocket. Ok done. Now shut it.
