DLC in fallout 3 not working all work except broken steel -____- now even more pissed and now my profile is all funked up so much that now i have 0 then 5000Game points on and off avatar on off cant even funking change it!! by now im -_________________________________________________________________________________________________-

so now DLC for fallout is broken broken steel other ones still work >.< this is really annoying is this because of server crash or what please help guys!

well broken steel works now, but only with the 1.5 patch.
sadly the ghoul reaver spaz glitch means that the presidential metro is almost impassable, there are billions of nigh invulnerable super ghouls that can survive fatmans to the face cause they dont register shots.
sucks ass cause so far its the best dlc, i love the death from above quest, especially the beginning bit.

don't install 1.5 patch, it brokes functionality of .esp files, read it HERE

well so far for me this seems to be one of the few patches that has improved performance on a game, along with crysis 1.1 that fixes memory leaks and optimises the game.

on previous patches fallout crashed every 3 hours almost on clockwork, by that i mean sometimes it did it almost instantly on loading lol, most refused to go to desktop and i had to restart as well. so far ive been on this for about 20 hours and it hasnt crashed once, everything seems to work better than usual, and unlike the others, this patch doesnt delete save games, something i was thankful for. the idea of starting again after getting all that i had was tiresome.

the only problem i have with this is the spaz glitch with reavers that breaks the prezmet, it has only happened once outside there and every reaver inside the prezmet does it, there seriously are dozens.

besides, without 1.5 you cant even start broken steel. i had to use the console to even make lyons appear and it wont work if you dont enable controls and go look for him first. sometimes you cant even do that, starting glitched under the gurney. the new effects dont work, like the purifiers water pumps and the jefferson statue isnt lit up. liberty prime is still outside the memorial rambling on in a totally awesome way when he should be in the canyon past the rock tunnel and paladin tristan wont appear even on console. the doors to the satellite array are only opened by him...basically broken steel lives up to its name without 1.5

that's because the 1.5 patch add new functions to the game like "change the water type (I wont spoil that part )"
you can play BS without 1.5 patch, with several workaround .esp files.

For mod users like me, 1.5 patch is useless, because it will ruin some of the good mods.

If you don't play with mods, go ahead install it.

i heard about the mod thing, i dont play with mods till ive completed a game through and through, was going to end this then register on fallout3 nexus to get the space marine armour and other gubbinz. no loss though really, the models might be awesome, but f3 is shit in third person, i'm guessing it was only really added for screenies. when you get the winterized t51-b from anchorage your invincible anyway though lol.
i give the constantine version to charon so it doesnt degrade, nothing repairs it, the winter ones invincible due to a glitch, but it supposedly repairs with regular power armour, i hope they dont fix that one

i was hoping there would be more differences between the fev and pura option though, and anything you did for missions too. paradise falls being a slave town or even bigger for your hard work, big town having a larger pop or becoming a super mutant base, that kind of thing.

apparently there might be another dlc called point look, only a rumour right now but it there still working on it it means they are still going to patch it. i just hope this time they get it right lol.
