massive overhype, doctoring of game shots and news prior to star game killzone 2s launch (and creation but whos keeping score). creating consoles at a loss, dirty market tactics, massive disrespecting of their target audience and more...all to lose out to the console it was replacing?

Haaaah. Sony is insane. On Kotaku they posted something from Sony, saying that the PS3 has a higher attachment rate, while the 360 has a lower attachment rate, although the 360 sold more than the PS3. Sony is damned losing it. Way too much bragging/hyping/failing going on. And, I can believe the PS2 is outselling the PS3. I have two of those suckers.

Well, we bought the first PS2 around it's release. So it was... Bah, I don't know. The second PS2 only cost us like, $25. =D

So no, nowhere near the amount you'd drop for a PS3.
