Area 51, developed by Midway Studios Austin (previously known as Inevitable Entertainment) and published by Midway for PC in 2005, PlayStation 2 and Xbox is a first-person shooter (FPS) genre of video game, and is a loose remake on the 1995 light gun video game of the same name. In the gameplay, players control Ethan Cole, a HazMat operative voiced by David Duchovny sent to the infamous base to investigate some manner of viral outbreak.

Area 51 game play has the plot about the U.S. Army has received a distress signal from Area 51 where a viral outbreak has just shut down the research facility and the automated quarantine procedures have locked all scientific and military personnel inside. Sviluppato e distribuito dalla stessa Midway nel 2005, Area 51 è un remake dell’omonimo gioco del 1995. Si tratta di un FPS (first person shooter) in cui vestendo i panni del protagonista Ethan Cole si dovrà penetrare nella famigerata base militare dell’area 51 al fine di far luce su una misteriosa richiesta di soccorso.
I giocatori attraverso numerosi livelli di difficoltà crescente scopriranno le devastanti conseguenza di un virus mutante in grado di controllare le menti del personale scientifico e militare della base, scopriranno la verità su una antica colonia aliena nel sottosuolo dell’impianto, sul mistero di Roswell e sulla missione di conquista della luna. Azione e diverttimento assicurato.
Il titolo è completamente gratuito grazie alla sponsorizzazione, sotto forma di pubblicità interna al gioco, da parte della US Air Force. Bella iniziativa!

The Suffering isn’t quit a pain to feel, but enjoyable, as it’s a video game that developed by Surreal Software and published by Midway. The Suffering single player game is released on PC, Sony PS2 (PlayStation 2) and Microsoft Xbox in 2004 on the genre of survival horror, psychological horror and third or first-person shooter category. Gamer plays the role of Torque, an inmate in a max security prison being taken over by dark supernatural force, in the game.

The Suffering is the first game of its kind to probe into the very unsettling and seedy underbelly of a maximum-security penitentiary haunted by horrific and grotesque apparitions, represented by the unique and disturbing executions that previously befell them. Gamers take on the role of Torque, an inmate who must face much more than his own inner demons and the harsh and gritty reality of death row, as he fights to escape the unleashing of the penitentiary’s gruesome secrets in a challenge more terrifying than fighting death itself. The Suffering features ultra-mature content and three distinctly different endings depending upon how you choose to survive.

The Suffering for PC version has now been released as a full version game freeware. There is no time expiration to the full version of The Suffering, and anybody and everybody can download the full version setup installer absolutely free without costs to install and play on Windows PC. Per gli affezionati dei videogiochi splatter/horror, la Midway ha deciso di rendere freeware la versione pc di The Suffering, un gioco che non giungerà nuovo a molte orecchie.

Nel gioco impersoniamo Torque, colpevole di sterminio della sua famiglia e rinchiuso nel penitenziario di Carnate nel Maryland, in attesa dell’esecuzione.

Appena mette piede in cella, strane creature attaccano la prigione e Torque vede l’occasione di fuggire, ma dovrà scoprire tante verità sull’isola prima di aver salva la vita..

Un gioco che ha dovuto attraversare tante polemiche, soprattutto sulla moralità della trama e delle azioni che farete compiere al protagonista, a volte anche un barbaro omicidio a sangue freddo può rivelarsi un gesto necessario o una buona azione.

Per chi è interessato comunque a un videgioco dove violenza e sangue non mancano, ben realizzato graficamente e non noioso, può scaricare The Suffering al link sotto indicato

Well area51 is just eh...Too much bloom added to it, and it is banned/ not allowed in some contries, because they used this to advertise army stuff, like trying to get people to join. So! You need to go get a crack to play it, if that is the case. ALSO Click for more free games

I downloaded The Suffering but when I try to run the installer I get an NSIS error and then the installation closes. Anyone else getting this?
