Welcome to the lord of the rings RPG.

here is some main information on time era etc.

We have decided (admin) to set the RPG in the period following Sauron's first defeat. Isildur is High king of Gondor and is in posession of 'The One Ring'. The Last alliance of Men and Elves have succeeded in 'destroying' Sauron as far as they know ;).

Playable Characters

Free Peoples (good)

Hobbits (though very early sire non existant at the present)

Elves

Men (good ;) )

White Numenoreans (Men blessed with long life)

Dwarves

Council of White (specified race 1 avaliable)

Forces of Darkness (bad)

Orcs

Moria goblins (moria orcs)

Easterlings/men of harad/Dunlendings/Corsairs (etc etc. Black men basically)

Black Numenoreans

Council of Black (evil wizards, specified race 1 avaliable)

Rules

1. 1 character person, unless chosen otherwise

2. No killing of other members characters unless permission given by other player (wounding is acceptable)

3. Must explain reasons and movements properly, for example not this :

Conan ran towards the tree headbutting it and ran away

or

Bill runs around killing men, walks north, killing more men before saying "i'm hungry"

Basically describe things better

4. Ents, Trolls, Ringwraiths etc etc exist but controlled by admins as NPC's (non playable characters). NPCs, if you wish to fight one or roleplay with one let Admin know using a Private message and they will ablige (NPCs can attack and wound)

5. No explicit sexual references, kissing allowed.

6. Realisatic to time frames i.e no guns, tanks, advanced technology.

7. Characters from teh books or films, (discluding elves etc and other long living peoples) do not mention them as they do not exist.

An Rp is kinda like writting storys on forums groups extra you make up a char and you role play as it something like this.

Of corse you can have alot more in it than that like battles extra you take yurns in posting stuff like that can be as short or as long as you like (with most rp's you're not aloud to contole another players char i think thats one of the rules here not sure

(The rules there are no hentai/porn related topics, no killing other players char's without permishion, no god modding (invinsable) and no controling other players char... other than that you can be whatever and who ever you like ^_^
