I just wondered what everyones favourite authors and genre of books is

the best authors i can think of at the moment is J.R.R. Tolkien (lotr is soooo amazing and all the middle earth stuff). Agatha christie is really good detective writer Poirot is my favourite detective ever hehe. Micheal Crichton is a great sci fi writer, he has a degree in biology or somthing i think adn he makes every scientifically correct you may recognise some of his work of film and TV , they include, Jurassic park series, Sphere, Timeline, E.R TV show and i am sure there are many others that even i dont know of.

i would say my favourite genres are Fantasy (especially epic sagas) and Sci fi are good i dont mind a good autobiography and i dunno maybe a love story hehe but i havent really read a book like that, but any book with a good story or meaning behind it i prob would read.

My favourite author? That's tough.

Although I have loads of great genres that I like!

I hate Romance unless its a sidepoint genre, I can't read an entire book on lovey-duvy people smooching away, its just soooooo annoying and boring. Fantasy or thriller anyday!

Hm......... I'd have to have alook becasue I can't remeber the author.... Beautiful set of books though... about Dragons and Fantasy ^_^ Primo stuff... I'll have to find it out...

At the moment I am reading: Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code... I liked the first two so I decided to read the other ones...:P

This may sound really sad but I also like the Horrible Histories series.

I forgot to mention that any J.R.R Tolkein and J.K Rowling are great and I love them. I used to really like Jaqueline Wilson too but I think now I;m a bit too old for those kinda books :rolleyes:

My fav author is J.K. Rolling, she made the Harry Potter books (it sucks doing a report on those books, so don't try it) and I like:

another really hard question. i like all sorts. JRR Tolkien's good, but i can't really get into the Silamarillion at the mo. i loved the Soddit by ARRR Roberts, it were soooooooooo funny. i love Harry Potter, doesn't everyone! Another good book is The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory, but that could be 'cause i'm obssesed with all things Tudor! lol!
