The blonde girl strolled gently in. She stared at a lion, who was staring back at her. She felt like breaking down the bars and sitting next to the strong mammal. She sighed and looked at her watch. She really did miss her cat, Dawnnie, back at home, well at least that's what she called her cat. His real name was Dawnstripe, as in the cats in that one Warriors Series. She loved cats and seeing the lion made him like an exact replica of her cat.

The zoo...a place one would go to see animals, yes? Well not nessesarily. Riley was here to just walk around, the park would be better than a smelly zoo. But you can see wild animals as you walk. Actually she hated seeing then locked up, when she was little she used to say that she would work at the zoo so she could let all of the animals out. Maybe then, but so not now.

After half an hour of walking she found herself by the lions and other wild cats. She saw an unoccupied space by a girl and sat down.

The rich cheerleader looked over. "Hi I'm Sami, who are you?" She flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder gently and stared at the lion who was now rubbing himself against the chain-link fence as if he loved the girl. She smiled and waited for an answer.

She looked at the blonde, "I'm Riley...and you?" She never talked to people in random places, she guess this place was too nice for her to take advantage of, or it would give her an advantage. Though she hadn't made any plans until school started...

"I'm Sam, what school do you go to?" she wondered. "Was she going to the same school as her?" she thought to herself. The lion sat down now wanting to escape his trap.

"Um, Sssss...lyvania, Slyvania." she finally sid, she couldn't remember the name of the school. It had a weird name and she was kind of bad with names, to some extent. "And you," she asked again.

"Really? I'm going to Sylvania too!" she exclaimed.

"Great...what grade will you be in?" she asked not knowing what else to say. Basic info first she had learned to get first. Then decided for yourself what 'catagory' they go under...

"I'll be in tenth next year..but I don't act like. Are you in cheerleading? Or Equestrian? Or Dance?" she asked. She knew she was young, but..who cares?

"I'll be in 11th, no I don't do activities like that." she said. Riley hated to break a sweat. That was one thing that brought out ther girly side. But it did in most girls anyway, the ones that she knew anyway.

"Oh..." she murmered. She looked at Riley. "You look like a good dancer..well you have a great body to be one."

"Really? Thanks." she said now opening her mouth to a smile. Now this girl was good in her book for now. It would stay that way unless anything bad happened or whatever. She dropped people like a styrofoam coffee cup in the middle of the New York streets. But the girl seemed harmless so,it was the last thing on her mind.

Sam smiled and nodded. "Yep, I'm captain of the dance team...maybe you should join?" she asked. She looked at her purse and soon to her watch.

"I'll think about it." she lied secretly. She noticed that Sam kept loking at her watch, "Got a hot date or something?" she joked.

Sam laughed. "No, just sort of nervous." she replied. She stared at the lion. She couldn't wait to see Dawnnie.
