Anyhoo... Advice. yes. I just need to rant a tad, so comments/advice/whatever is ever-so welcome.

My Sig, the bottom gives detail of my job. training begins in May next year (2008) and holy shit its a long way off... I got another year of school and all this bullshit at home, I want to skip it and get my GED...
I DID score very very very well on the ASVAB test and so I'm anxious and ready here... gah, why does school seem to fuck with me this much? I lost my social life, and now im losing vital parts of my very sanity on puting up with home here...

About all that, its a long story. Gather 'round everyone... here we go

My mom and her bf... (getting legendary by now) are always making mutual friendships with the scum of the earth and eventually that scum moves in somehow, one way or another...

for now tho, it is a man everyone here calls "Pirate", he always has a bandana and claims to be a former sailor on a boat. Lord knows really... but he is a drunken, aryan, errogant, and now i believe mentally unstable individual of unknown potential.

he was asking if i knew where to get low-priced firearms legally, for personal protection application... so I refer him to a business downtown (directly north, 10 streets up from my house) and so he buys a Russian 1944 Mosin-Nagant rifle, and the next day he buys a Polish 9x18 Makarov pistol... within six hours of BUYING that pistol, he gave every gun and gun owner in America a bad name by foolishly discharging the gun IN MY FRONT YARD and I was so disgusted with him that I truly do not look at him the same... cops come and such, we got a house full of drunks... literally, we had 7 or 8 people there not including myself.

The ask around with the fidgety people, and so they call me out there... Officer Gibson tells me how I stuck like a sore thumb in the living room and how it looked like I "didnt belong there". that was a big message to me, it feels slightly empowering after youve lived with drunks for a seemingly majority of your life and then to have an officer of the law NOT identify or assume me as a drunk. It was a compliment...

Anyways, Pirate was not arrested... the gun was seized, he is being charged with discharging a firarm in city limits, and weapons violation. (he registered a .230 for blood alcohol limit, enough to kill somone)

How do I keep sane? the unusual things and methods thought to make people worry. but if you know me like many others do, you'd be cool with it in an understanding way. I'm 17, and I am a gun enthusiast. which means, i study, work on, repair, identify, and play with firearms. Its more fun than anyone really gives credit or even cares to imagine.

For exapmle, I redesigned look of my AK-47. Why? I was bored. Am I happy with it now? Hell yes. everytime i look at it, I smile with pride. Its unique, who else has woodburned "Say hello to my little friend" in russian on their AK stocks? lol

Its the unusual things that make me happy.

But I will go on to say, that nothing makes me happier than Sarah...
The 8 hour phone calls are memories that may never fade, not that i remember what we talked about lol, but it was still amazing. as is every phone call with her... Its soooo cute when she laughs :)

Aww that was a touching post! Great job in talking about all that stuff..wow that's pretty hard to deal with. But in your post it sounds like you have at least some hope which is great! As long as you have one thing right?

You see the police alot don't you, there must be alot of police where you live, we hardly ever see cops and i live in the same suburb as a police station..

well, the stupid people here keep doing stupid shit that people call the cops on them for, so therefore... I get to see the cops :)
