right, well basically im a worying person, i worry about everything and anything, so i might b blowing this out of proporsiton but i am rly worried and i fink it is effecting my attitude to life atm.
basically, about 1 month ago i had more test done to see wheather i needed another operation on it and test results havnt come back and im shittin myself.
sparkle has tried to help me, and i dunno where i'd be without her!!!
but i dnt kno how to stop worrying when im not with her?
am i blowing this out of proportion or is it normal?
help? pls :(

i dont think worrying is that out of the ordinary, its not uncommon. an operation is a serious thing, compared to things like a maths test, so i dont think its unreasonable to be worried. i think u really just need to find some points that are logical and focus on them. it works for me, such as if u think about how at worst if you do need the operation, the doctors know exactly what they are doing and you need to trust that. good luck. :hugs:

The way I look at it is, Why worry about something that hasn't happened yet? Say the tests come back that you don't have to have surgery, Won't you be kicking yourself in the butt for worrying so much about it?

thanks guys, i fink i do need to pick up on good positive facts
also that the fact that why i shud worry when it hasn't happend is a very good point, i hope i dont worry about it as much
me and sparkle talked about it yesterday and she helped me as always

Wow laura thats a great way to put things =] I have to agree. I think while you are waiting you should plan something that really excites you to take your mind off it so you don't go crazy with worry. Maybe plan a special day for Sparkle, work on it for a few days, making plans and arrangements. Thats sure to keep you on your toes and your mind off all the worry. =]

hehe i do think that would be excellent and im sure sparkle will love that, and with half term round the corner a special romantic and perfect day to relax will be in order
