Grunge

Learn grunge in a easy way!

You will need grunge brushes,and photoshop

Here are the steps

1) Ok first,make a new document,I say anything over 400 x 130 is too big for a sig,I am gonna use 400x110.

2) Now go to Filter --> Render --> Clouds like so
Note the coud filter will never look the same,so if you don't have the same thing,don't panic

2)Now make 5 more layers of could falters,but for ALL the layers except the first one soft light (you can do this by clicking that drop down menu in the layer palet and look for solf light) so they should look like this (or something close)

3)Heres is where the grunge brushes come into play,you know the layers you made,well click on the first one and use a BLACK GRUNGE BRUSH and just brush around,than do the rest like that until you get to the last layer,this one you will use a WHITE GRUNGE BRUSH so it should look like this

4)Ok,so now we must find a picture,i'll be using a halo one,heres the render if you want to use it
now just put the render in a good place.

5)Next you have to blend in the render,ok go to layer --> New Layer Adjustments --> color balance and choose a good color,i'll show you if you don't get it
ok,now than go to the lasso tool and wrap it around the sides of the render,than Left click the part you circled --> Select Inverse than left click again --> fether and set it to 20 pixels like this than go to edit --> clear and it will blend in good.

6) finnally the final step,ok well this is easy,just put in your username (or whatever) and/or a quote and you'll be done!Heres what I got
(I got those borders from going to Edit --> stroke than put in a 3 pixel black,than do the same thing but this time with a 2 pixel white,and one last time with a 1 pixel black.)
