yay Rachel!
how did you meet your dh?
what do you love most about your dh?
I felt to search the meaning of your name. God places much meaning on a name.
Rachel in hebrew means ewe (sheep)
Nu 6:14 NLT
and offer these sacrifices to the LORD: a one-year-old male lamb without defect for a burnt offering, a one-year-old female lamb without defect for a sin offering, a ram without defect for a peace offering,
I believe you were named as you should be. Give you life up to your shepherd, who protects you. give your life as a sacrifice for the Lord who has sacrificed all for you.
(((hugs)))

Proverbs 29:25 New King James Version
The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord
shall be safe.

How did you meet your dh? Dh and I met at college. He was in the same classes as a friend of mine and we would all hang out on the weekends. We hit it off instantly and I'll say within a week we knew we wanted to get married.
What do you love most about your dh? I love his personality. He's quirky and weird, but I get it. He doesn't fit with a lot of circles, but the only circle he needs is within these four walls. He has the best smile, laugh... is just georgeous and is the most amazinf father and husband. Oh and I love just being able to look at him and knowing that he loves me just as much.

What gifts has the Lord given you that you use daily or on a regular basis?
Great question! I think the biggest gift he has given me is patience and love. I find as I get older I am learning that it's important to step back and think before you act.
I am also so greatful that he brought Dh into my life. There were a few years, my teens, where I really questioned my faith and his existance, but Dh proves to me daily that he is strong and powerful and loves me. Thank you for the guidance Lord.
Then I can't express enough how greatful I am that he saw fit to grant me a son to raise and guide him in his light. Motherhood is an amazing gift and I am so glad I was granted such a precious gift.
What is a normal weekend like for you?
Well with Dh gone I find some days just blend into the next. I try to keep Ds busy and get him out at least once a day. Generally I spend some time working on my computer, making calls and then I try to have some down time when Ds goes to bed.
I can't wait till it is warmer out. Ds and I go for long walks every day in the spring, summer and fall. I can't wait tof that.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to go to Greece. I have always wanted to. The history and architecture amazes me. I would love to be n such an historical place surrounded by such culture.
What is your favourite meal to make?
Hmmmm, I'm not much of a cooker. I make pasta a lot of Ds because that is the only way I can sneak in the veggies. I am much more a small easy meal girl. I love granola and turkey bites.
What is your favourite food to eat?
If someone else is cooking nothing beats a well cooked steak dinner. I also love turkey dinner, so any excuse to have a big family meal and I am there.
What is your Favorite colour?
Blue and black even though that is just a shade!
Do you have any hobbies? If so what are they?
I love to read, write, crochet, I've been dabbling in scrapbooking (I am making a Roto 3 scrapbook so Ds can look at it when he is older). Oh and today I made some Easter Cards. It was way too fun and I can see it getting addictive.
Who is your favorite person from the bible? (Not God or Jesus)
I think I like Jobe. I've been sick since I was 15 and have undergone some serious bouts of Crohn's. So, I kind of believe in the trails and tribulations. It speaks to me.
If there was one thing you could do in this world what would you do?
Have another baby. It's coming :P .
