Title: Alright, it's getting on my nerves.

Falzer - May 8, 2007 05:00 AM (GMT)
Ok, i've noticed ALOT of topics being revived, and with stupid comments too. I'm planning to lock certain topics that I think do not need to stay open. If the creator of that thread wants to re-open it, PM me.

This is a warning, stop reviving threads. >_>

zero - May 8, 2007 05:14 AM (GMT)
sry to say this but ..., YOU been away for something and of course that members do what they want yeah about the old topics being revived if they are old leave them if there arent any new updates on them

Falzer - May 8, 2007 05:45 AM (GMT)
I may have been gone for awhile (with reasons that include close friends dying, mind you), but that's not an excuse for the forum to get out of control with reviving topics. I have recovered from my ordeal, and now i'm back to whip the forum into shape again.

Nemomon - May 8, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
Welcome back. I have a suggestion. Don't lock topics this time but put in Rules Topic an annotation: Don't revive old Topics instead. Then, when this rule will be broken - lock that topic.

Not to be rash but you and me are the only ones that care I think.

I care, I think it's stupid to bring back topics.

Oh I'm sorry about ten of the non adminitration care and can understan proper english. Naming them would just result in a flame war.

Blaze Dragon - May 8, 2007 04:50 PM (GMT)
Wow, you really need to think a little more about, you know, don't be an a**
As for the topic, I think you should put a time (IE: a month). If not, it is a little difficult to know when a topic is too old.

Are you being sarcastic?

Falzer - May 8, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
Nemomon: Good idea. It has been added to the rules list.

zero: The only reason I was chosen to be a moderator was because the two admins knew me well, I was an active member and they trusted me. I was also a moderator on the old forum as well.

Kraust: Not many people read the rules, or have common sense. So there are only a handful of people that do follow the rules.

Blaze: A month is definetely too old, but a week is pretty old as well, don't you think?

Antifrost: Glad to know that you feel the same way as I do.

well yeah but im an admin in another forum , im even a mod and other things but i know why it will be not easy to be a mod here because of the guides right? if yes i knew it >.< when there are something important many people dont trust as it can be uploaded somewhere and it would be useless .. if not tell me why and about the dead topics i disagree with you about a week ... becasue why its old if its a month its old but not a week it can be updated

EDIT:after some thinking i maybe its not about the guide as they are free to members but its about the forum right??

d-leeter - May 9, 2007 02:28 PM (GMT)
i say if it's eight days old, and it's bumped, you should lock it and give them a warn.

it's good to have you back falzer.
(and sorry to hear about your friend)

... another reason i'm a moderator, is because I type well. You just basically used one whole large run on sentence that I barely understood.

d-leeter: No problem, i've gotten over it.

zero - May 9, 2007 08:56 PM (GMT)
always some of the same reasons -.- i make spelling mistakes but i type fast some times i don't see any mistakes so everyone can spell bad even you falzer

Falzer - May 9, 2007 10:02 PM (GMT)
Yes, but I do it rarely.

Blaze Dragon - May 9, 2007 10:37 PM (GMT)
Sorry, zero-kun, but I agree with Faltzer-san. A Mod is really expected to KNOW English, and to be able to write in it. However, your grammar is...less than impressive. Uncapitalized Is, no aposthrophes, etc. Faltzer, however, only made one grammar mistake, an uncapitalized I.

zero - May 10, 2007 01:10 PM (GMT)
i write as i like too people know what im saying and thats all i know 1 that i written without apostrophes and other things he became mad and im still learning at school as most people here so even a perfect mod with good English needs a help even from one that is not perfect

^That is a perfect example.
i could barely understand what you were saying.

Even a perfect mod with good English still needs some help from one that is not perfect.

This is how it should've looked, and even then, it's still a hardly understandable sentence.

sorry zero, but we need mods that can type correctly.

zero - May 10, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
sry i wrote that in a hurry * if i written it slowly i would have went late >.< anyway let me rewrite the sentence

I write as i like too . i am sure that many people know what i am talking about when i post something ( they dont say anything to me) so thats enough for me . if someone could tell me that i made a mistake they can tell me to arrange it and falzer you say that you are some type of perfect mod or something but no one is perfect and if you are all others are not perfect then. So i would like to be a mod to help you with the forum and as we dont know what will happen we might be prepared

i hoped this is good

As bad as the last one, zero-kun.
I will say it this way: the Caps Lock is your friend. And friend to all the Is.

d-leeter - May 10, 2007 10:59 PM (GMT)
It was better, but still not good.

Allow me to fix it....again.

"Sorry I wrote that in a hurry.
If I wrote it slowly I would have benn late >.<
Anyway, let me rewrite the sentence.

I write how I like, too.
I am sure that many people know what I am talking about when i post something.

That is how you are supposed to type.

we need a mod with exelent typing.

Nobody is perfect, and I am a nobody. Therefore, I am perfect.

Is there any point to having this topic open anymore? If not, i'm going to close it. Any last statements about what I said in the first post?

d-leeter - May 10, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
Not realy, but you are a bit short on staff, so I would recommend you increase it.

zero - May 11, 2007 05:22 AM (GMT)
ok then -.- im a nobody to nearly all of you
im not perfect and make many spelling mistakes right
right now if i was someone else i would have gone out of control and written some crap with caps because im always calm and before i get angry i stay calm somehow
so forget it perfect mods i wanted to help but you want perfect members so cya

and blaze dragon ... Caps are not my friend because i always went into trouble when i used them ok

* leaves*

Nemomon - May 11, 2007 12:52 PM (GMT)
I'm thinked, that i'm may be Mod too, but my english isn't good. For me good Mod mustn't speak and write with good english but he must know a meaning of post. Any mistakes may correcting another Mod.

And second thing. In TREZ must be almost always online any Mod. But You Faltzer and Admins are only in deep night (foor me). TREZ will be protected.

Antifrost - May 11, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
I speak English as my first language and I hardly make mistakes, but I have a feeling that I'd make a bad mod...

Nemomon - May 11, 2007 04:10 PM (GMT)
All people makes mistakes. But i'm almost always online because my work is in my house. I may sometimes look a situation in TREZ.

d-leeter - May 11, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
Stop asking to be mods, the staff will decide who they want as a mod.

zero - May 11, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
well we know that but we are asking them but they must decide anyway no one posts anymore about being a mod because they are searching for a perfect mod with no spelling mistakes mostly my first language is not English but its my second or third but im good at it anyway thats all falzer if you want to close this topic do it
and for last i disagree about those who revive old topics if the topic is helpful and that member is asking for help it cant be locked because your telling sry were not helping you so bye ( instead of saying it worse -.-)

Nemomon - May 11, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)

True, everyone does make mistakes. Even myself. Anyways...

I'll leave this open for the hell of it. If you guys think you would make good moderators, I suggest going to talk to the admins about it. I'm just the moderator.

As you said, its Griega Master-san's decision. Apart from that, most of you don't qualify to be mods in my opinion. A Mod should:
-Have almost perfect grammar
-Don't be an a**
-Don't be too lazy
The first disqualifies most of you. The last disqualifies me :p

d-leeter - May 11, 2007 11:19 PM (GMT)
The only spelling mistakes I make are uncapitalized "I"s.
I'm not an a**, of that, I can asure you.
I'm not lazy, as I am on very, very often. (well, not lazy online anyway.... )

But, like I said, let the mods/admins decide.

His post pretty much explains everything and his list is perfect in the qualifications :)
I would pick someone but there is no real need for mods.
